Paintballin' (Laser Tag Arena)

Paintballin' is basically a paintball war with friends or the computer.
It features custom music (if you want to give me some music, then by all means do), enemy A.I., and power-ups.

I have some suggestions for the level:

More decorations- as it is now the level is a little bland looking. Try spicing it up with some more decor.
Better respawn system: when you die, you simply fall over and get up at the same spot. This can be unfair since the person who just died will be shrouded with more paint. An alternative is to spawn them somewhere in the general vicinity to balance it more, and it'll still be condensed and moving.
More interactive environment- you've got crate drops which are pretty neat, but I think some other interactive elements would enhance your arena. Now, I know it's a versus level and you don't want it lose focus on the paintguns, but maybe consider something like occasional triggered traps that will deduct points from players that die from it or similar spontaneous events; something that will "shock" the players, you know?
Customizable score limit- some players may want to go past/lower than 1,500 points to win.
More powerups- I think you said that you're going to make more.
Extra ways to attain powerups- a target that shows up briefly for example.




Anyway, you've got a pretty good level put together from what I've seen. I haven't tested it with real players but the AI was great. I'm not sure if I noticed a difference between the medium and hard difficulty settings but that's alright. Keep up the good work.

I agree with The Actual Kid, the level just needs a little bit more spicing up, it is a little but bland, however the AI seemed to be programmed very nicely! ^_^2014-08-28 02:37:00
