There could be a public beta somewhere in September or October, if not then you'll be waiting for the next 3 months. But that's okay i'm sure Sumo won't forget about us creators. It's was already discussed, still we have no confirm info about this topic. So stay tuned!

Nobody knows, but I'm kind of thinking (more like hoping) that there will be. I've never actually paid any attention to this before, because I've never actually missed a beta until now, but I feel like they probably would hide the names of the levels that people are playing if the beta was supposed to stay a private thing. It just feels weird that there's an NDA, but the names of levels that people are playing are shown on their PSN status. If someone makes something like "Orchestral Music Test," then we'd be able to infer that there are new orchestra instruments. If someone makes "3D Camera Demo," then we'll be able to tell that the game has one of those. Like I said, I could be completely wrong. I've never actually been on this side of the info-wall before, so this could've just been a normal thing. It just seems like an odd choice. This thread's probably gonna be merged with the beta thread though.

I seen my friend playing a level called hot stuff and they refuse to tell me what it is... On making a public beta on the other hand doesn't sound good to me lots of those "Not stable" LBP players might get in and only God know what will happen, it's better if they made a public demo.

Guys, this is talking about the possibility of a public beta AFTER the private beta, which is possible. It would make sense to have it be a month long in September-October. LBPKarting had a 1 month public beta, so it would make sense that this would, too.

If the all beta invites were sent for the CLOSED beta, then there's nothing to worry about unless you want to play the beta ASAP. But if you are patient enough to wait until October or so, there MIGHT be a PUBLIC beta for all of us. I have a feeling that there will be one.

Part of me wishes there was and part of me wishes there wasn't. If we could prevent articles being written about how 'broken' the game was then I'm all for it. Until gamers and the media stop taking every opportunity to knock a product based on a Beta then I'm afraid I'd have to favour 'no public beta.'

Doesn't it use the same ones as LBP 1 and 2? well, the giving it to trustworthy people (like a +1 sort of deal) is what I thought would keep it semi-private, but the servers always need to be tested, we dont need another GTA V incident

Even though this probobly won't contribute at all, there is a petition on a website that wants PS+ members to access the LittleBigPlanet 3 beta. I'm not saying it'll work, but It just might (I'm still not saying it will though).

They shouldn't be forced make their beta available to all PS+ members.

I believe that the beta is ending in a few weeks, or else the game will be delayed as one month before release is too late for disk production. They need to produce disks for the game's release, or else the game will be sold out on release because they have no disks for the game.

The amount of people doesn't make it a semi-private BETA. And a lot more people tried to get on all at once with GTA, LBP will have a lot less people, trying to get on at various times.

I think that a public beta will be very good, everybody could find bug/glitches, it's again more sure ! =) And even if the game coming pretty soon, the important bugs would be repaired ! But...LittleBigPlanet 3 is delayed a week in France ='(
