Welcome to our eighth Community Spotlight! For those of you who don't know, Community Spotlight is a way for us to show off, or "Spotlight", our favorite levels made by you! Our Spotlight Crew scours the Level Showcase (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=40) for awesome levels, and they neatly organize them in a list format to help you find and play them on your own. Each level has comments from each Crew member that selected that level, so you guys can get a good idea of how many Crew members enjoyed it. The snazzy headers are back as well; they look good, eh?

xkappax/xkappax
Description:
This level is a story driven level with a rather goofy story. The spirit of Autumn gets angry at the spirit of Winter because she says that the season of Winter is more beautiful than Autumn. The spirit of Autumn takes his revenge on the land of Winter and kidnaps the spirit of Winter! Your task is to save the land of winter! This level was mostly my side project while my husband was working on our new level. If anything works remotely well in this level, he probably built it. - xkappaxOur Thoughts:
Why is this level on the spotlight? Simple - it's incredibly fun, contains fantastic and hilarious content, and it HAS HEART. From the beginning to the end you will be treated to some of the most unique characters and contraptions you've experienced in LittleBigPlanet (the end boss MUST be seen to believe!). This level shows what you can do if you truly put a piece of yourself into your levels. And the bear text bubble.... you KNOW we were all thinkin' it - Sara was just the first to actually DO something about it! (notice I didn't credit your husband here - he has a wife who makes games... he has enough... now pony up the flowers, dude!) - CCubbage
This was the first level I'd played from this creative duo and it immediately hit me with a huge sense of polish, fun and charm. It was close to capturing the innocent slapstick and platforming goodness found in the story levels, and showcased a huge amount of personality and play value. It was stacked with replay value with hidden goodies, and even features a moodier unlockable doppleganger if you can't get enough. This level is like an interactive episode of old school Scooby Doo. My favorite bit is by far is the dance off at the end, and I wish more creators would take a note from this in how to lighten up a little. - NinjaMicWZ
FUN FUN FUN! This level has that element in spades. However that does not mean the visuals and gameplay take a bake seat, oh no. Both of these elements are also top notch and you will find yourself admiring the winter wonderland that kappa has created. All of this is driven by a funny, light-hearted story that will bring a smile to your face. This level is the perfect antidote after you have played one too many epic levels. - OCKMedia (if available):http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y84/haleybrooks/DSC04718.jpg

Risen/Blorf
Description:
"Metal Revolution" is a full-length level with an interesting game mechanic that is used to get through. It includes a multiplayer section, a collection of prizes (all easily avoided if you prefer), multiple methods of passing obstacles, and a bonus awarded based on your performance in the level.

I put a lot of time into this level and I'm really happy with how it came out. I hope you all enjoy it! - RisenOur Thoughts:
This is easily one of the best and most carefully designed action/puzzler levels I've personally played. The goal: roll a wheel though the level and use it to solve puzzles and avoid danger. There is an incredible amount of depth and replay value in this game - it absolutely warrants multiple plays (once to learn the mechanics, and once to start having a blast). This level is a testament to fantastic design! - CCubbage
This is one of the best levels out there, point blank. It's balanced to perfection with an open level of challenge that the player dictates themselves, an incredible reward system, tons of secrets and play value. It's one giant, totally unique platforming puzzle. It's got a clear, defined vision and style. It's a cold, bleek and stressful place but is calm and refrained. I've grown to be a fan of puzzling levels, and this remains the most unique one due to it's foundation of reinventing wheel. - NinjaMicWZMedia (if available):http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=163&pictureid=1413http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=163&pictureid=1415

Samson107/Samson107
Description:
You have to destroy the enemy fleet using either a helicopter, tank or jeep. It's a side scrolling shooter that you can play up to 4 players. you win points for your kills and your overall time - Samson107Our Thoughts:
Operation 107 is a small, deceptively simple level about one thing: BLOWING THINGS UP! In fact, I don't think I've ever played a level in LittleBigPlanet where this concept is more satisfying. It's incredibly adicting, extremely polished, the controls are fantastic, and it features some of the best explosion techniques I've seen! But the icing on the cake: there is practically NO frustration and it's fantastic for multiple players. So - jump into this game, take out some frustration, and exit with a big smile on your face! - CCubbage
What we have here is a mini-game where the focus is on hard-core action and boy does it satisfy! Samson has given the player the option of 4(!!) vehicles to do damage with and I can honestly say I have never seen such freedom of choice. The levels is rounded out by a very artistic backdrop that is a perfect contrast to the chaos happening on screen. The level ends with a detailed "war room" and the option to hit a switch which causes something rather funny to happen. Fantastic stuff! - OCK
This is the most well executed, entertaining, stylish, and original mini-game, vehicle-based, shooter level I've played yet. It's executed flawlessly in terms of mechanics, it controls great, it looks great, has fantastic special effects, and has a clear idea of what it's trying to be from the get go. 4 vehicles, none of which have the typical Libidus hitches and control problems, and a very lighthearted blitzkreig theme to make it conceptually interesting. If you want to have some fun, give it a try - NinjaMicWZMedia (if available):http://www.geocities.com/samson107@rocketmail.com/operation107.jpg

Maraz Matari/Maraz_Matari
Description:
A top down shooter level, in a ship, you race through space blowing up enemies, fighting bosses, and gaining Power-Ups. Yes, that's right POWER-UPS!!! The Power Ups include a Power Shot (Plus gaining Ammo for it), a Shield, Duel shot Alpha, Duel Shot Omega, and Health Restoration. It a survival score challenge level too, made to have people competing for the top score. Hope ya like it!!! - Maraz MatariOur Thoughts:
Maraz Matari is a master with switch logic, and he's also incredibly creative. With this level, Maraz Matari has funnelled this ingenuity into a highly addictive tribute to classic arcade shooters! Fight through waves of enemies, destroying classic-arcade-style bosses (and also witness some of the most interesting blow-up sequences you've seen!) - CCubbage
This is very polished arcade-style shooter sim. There's tons of style in the humor and aesthetic design choices, some beautiful non-combat areas, and tons of innovation and creativity in the way power ups are handled, and in the way enemies die off with a comic-book-style sound effect balloon. It's a perfect example of how to make something colorful, rewarding, and accessible even when there's tons of mechanical complexity and logic systems involved in the creation process. - NinjaMicWZ

Snowspot/JonMartin
Description:
I am really trying to come up with some interesting design asthetics for the series final episodes. I want people to be amazed. I hope people enjoy what I've done, I had a good time with friends during the swinging segments. - SnowspotOur Thoughts:
An absolutely stunning interactive work of art. I've been watching this series for several months, enjoying the story and getting used to the monochrome experience. I went into this level expecting the same.... and I think Snowspot just blew my mind! Yes, everything is still abstract.... but the colors, the action sequences, the gameplay, and the story were fantastic! Enough said, I can't explain it.... go check it out. - CCubbage
The great thing about LBP is that the game is whatever you want it to be. Snowspot's LBA series is a combination of creative story-telling, unique visuals and challenging platforming. This latest episode stays true to the series but there is a greater overall polish and some really cool new things are done on the visual front. The story gets ever deeper and keeps the player wanting more. This is a truly original piece of work. - OCK
JonMartin, or snowspot as he's known here, has never failed to do something different and decisively against the grain with this series. Every episode takes some small, contextually meaningless technique that you might have seen elsewhere and elaborates upon it, and gives it life, meaning, and an interpretative relevance. The story is always given to you in small doses, and is drawn out to make the series a long running, and continually unraveling mystery... I grew up reading independent comics and loving art and abstract thought, and this latest (and arguably greatest) entry into the most elaborate, creative, and consistently evolving series on LBP is proof that the game is the best medium available to a single person wanting to create an immersing and interactive narrative, and simply express themselves without the financial means to do so and in the absence of a formal and professional venue. That underground, totally off-the-beaten-path and hidden-from-the-world status is what makes this series the "in" thing and totally cutting edge in it's own right. If you think like this, try this episode as a introduction, then do your homework, and support it as it continues to deliver week after week. If LBP really is revolutionary and opens the floodgates for creativity, this is the proof. If nothing else, the levels are always challenging, well-paced, different every time, and always give you something nice to look at. - NinjaMicWZMedia (if available):http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v2306/74/76/43100610/n43100610_30932590_2933.jpg

Description:
Hello fellow LBPCer's - Looking for a great multiplayer level to bookmark for when friends are in the pod?

Well, I want to tell you all about the Grinder! - This level was my 5th level and definitely one of my favorites. It has maintained nearly a 3:1 play/heart ratio through about 1400 plays and has been tweaked, upgraded and fine tuned for over two months now. It's a race and points level and with all new scoring opportunities the leaderboards are ripe for the picking. I'd love to see it get some more attention so I'm sticking er out there and hoping I can hear your thoughts. Play it with friends or play it alone, either way I think you'll enjoy it.....and oh yeah, watch out for the gears! - JaeydenOur Thoughts:
With the Grinder Jayden has created a race-type level of the highest quality. Jaeyden is a creator who is not satisfied with one or two original ideas in his levels so insead her throws 5-6 fresh ideas at the player! Here you will be propelled by rocket powered spring boards, fly up a chamber slanted on the diagonal, bounce around like a human pinball and do many other entertaining things. The level is rounded out by Jaeyden's incredible visuals which are always only matched by his outstanding gameplay. Best part of all? It works great for multiplayer! - OCK
Fantastic frenetic fun! This level caught me completely by surprise - The design is incredible and, in some cases, vertigo inducing... and there's so many great obstacles, I had to play the level twice just to have it sink in! It's good to see someone, once again, pushing the LittleBigPlanet platform in new directions. - CCubbageMedia (if available):http://www.epicureme.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/.pond/IM000344.JPG.w560h420.jpg

Takelow/Takelow
Description:
At the end of the Part II: The Ring, you entered the Prancing Poney and for the first time met Aragorn. He told you that you need to find Elrond in Fondcomb, arguing that he will know what to do next. The third level start in the Prancing Poney, and Aragorn tell you that Sauron is already searching you. You must leave the Prancing Poney in order to reach Fondcomb, but your travel will not be easy? The King Nazguls are here to find you?.
Will you be brave enough to bear the ring safely and meet the Fellowship of the Ring? - TakelowOur Thoughts:
This is a strong contender for most beautiful level ever created. Takelow's latest entry into his LoTR levels is a real stunner and it shows in every single aspect of his design. The lighting is jaw-dropping, the characters are sublime, the detail is astounding. The best thing about this level is that it stays true to the LoTR story while still showcasing the wonderful style and talent of Takelow. A true work of art, this level is on my all time favorites top 10 list. - OCK
Jaw dropping! Takelow brings middle earth to life in the most beautiful level I've ever seen in LittleBigPlanet. But not only are the visuals amazing, this level also has some fantastic moments of platforming. One of my favorite series of books of all time is Lord of the Rings, and this material is certainly in capable hands with Takelow. I've been using this level as a showpiece for the last week to show my friends what LittleBigPlanet can do! I'm looking forward to the next chapter. - CCubbage
I really love the visuals in this level... the intro is magnificent and the implementation of brief set pieces, dark encounters, and short and memorable story sequences into the small and limited scope of LBP is a feat in itself. To make it work as a platformer and keep it flowing is an even bigger one. I think what I love most, is the character cutouts, as their attention to detail, carefully etched physique and crafted anatomy enhance the nostalgia rather than interrupting it. You mix in the lighting, the carefully selected pallet of complimentary materials and colors, and as always with Takelow - beautiful lighting - and you get gorgeous, playable, and enthralling. - NinjaMicWZMedia (if available):http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=275&pictureid=2240http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=275&pictureid=2236

Description:
Well, I've finally finished my second level, Basilisk Bog. I almost gave up on it after half the stage just randomly fell apart and I, unaware that had happen, saved it and exited to the Pod. Thankfully, after cooling off a bit, I decided to rebuild and have completed the level. Originally, I had planned to focus on more puzzle aspects, but as I started developing the level, my focus went toward my first attempt at a final boss. I think, for the most part, it turned out pretty well. I look forward to your thoughts.
- mrsupercomputerOur Thoughts:
If I could describe this level in one word it would be gorgeous. mrsupercomputer has created a world of beautifully constructed custom content and expert use of lighting, paintballs and rockets to make the atmosphere just right. His basilisks and tribesman are quite possibly the best characters I have come across in LBP and he also managed to fit in one of the most original boss battles I have ever seen. This level is a must play! - OCK
From the moment I stepped into this magical world, I knew this level was something special. The beautiful trees, the wind swooshing by... and then a fantastic story filled with beautifully drawn creatures began to unfold. Every detail in the level is well-thought-out, and beautiful to watch - all the way down to one of the most intrigueing boss battled I've seen. - CCubbageMedia (if available):http://brentsimmons.com/lbp/bb1.jpg

JackBurton25/JackBurton25
Description:
Hi fellow creators! I'm back after weeks of work on my newest level. Get closer to the truth about the LBP Project as you advance through the secret underground lab. - JackBurton25Our Thoughts:
This is a sequel that up's the ante in every way. The level is truly a showcase for lighting, architecture, level structure and pacing. The story is expanded upon and leaves the player wanting more. There is an overall polsih here that is rarely seen and this really needs to be appaluded. Throw in a couple of very clever puzzles and a boss battle and you have yourself a winner. This level is as close to perfect as you will ever find. - OCK

JackBurton's got such a great eye for detail, scale and for creating an elaborate, interconnective environment and making it entirely playable. He gives you a vision of a cold, bleak and mysterious future and does it with such ease, to immerse you into his world and his slowly unraveling plotline. The visual quality of this level is very hard to match, despite being a solid theme grounded in a real world concept... replay value and reward go hand in hand with the graceful application of machinery, and masterfully stylish implementation of secret passages. The boss battle is one of the best I've seen, and gives you a great conclusion to what I'd say is time well spent getting familiar with your surrounding and immersing yourself in it's world. - NinjaMicWZ

Voltiare/Voltiare
Description:
Description: Thank you, [INSERT NAME]. Your active participation in the H.A.T.E. program is appreciated. Your next test will be done via VR and all you have to do is commit a little murder. Sounds like a good day to me...

Well, I don't know how many hours I put into this bloody level, but I think it turned out really well. It is much more polished than the original H.A.T.E (which was fairly polished as well) and a lot less frustrating. For anybody looking for an insanely challenging level, this will not be it. If you are good with a Paintinator, I doubt you will die too often.

This level is more about using the Paintinator and killing things as that is how the program H.A.T.E_2.exe was written. It is not the same as the first where it was all about platforming and puzzling. There is a a lot of those, but more emphasis on blowing stuff up.

+ Presentation is well polished.
+ Condescending and funny dialog.
+ All items are custom (though there are those that are based of Mm's)
+ Timed to encourage speed runs.
+ Original use of paint switches.
- VoltiareOur Thoughts:
A level so nice, they had to make it twice. This level's kinda like NY in that way... I was already impressed with the original version of this sequel to my favorite level, but after finally getting the final product, I can safely say that Voltiare has once again found what it takes to blow peoples minds, even with the way LBP has changed and the constant increase in quality. It does so many things that have never been seen before, and does them well... it also gives you a brisk, perfectly challenging and rewarding play session with looks muich crisper and sharper than the original. If you liked the original, you will love this. It shatters it's own mold and surpasses it's own expectations. It even has an accompanying doppleganger that serves as a playable documentary and bonus feature, which is one of the most forward thinking ideas I've seen in years. - NinjaMicWZ
Take the fantastic style of the original H.A.T.E., heavily enhance the graphics, throw in the paintinator and some truly epic action sequences, and top it off with some of the most ingenious puzzles in the LittleBigPlanet universe - and you have H.A.T.E._2! Only one word of advice - don't forget to bring your brain when entering! - CCubbage
What we have here is a level that redefines what a puzzle is and inspires fresh ideas through it's innovation and originality. The focus here is on the paintinator and this wonderful gadget is used in ways most of us have probably never even dreamed of, let alone created. Voltiare has created a level that is ultra polished and will have the player coming back for more, trying for the number one spot. There are good levels, there are great levels, there are masterpieces. Guess which category this falls into? - OCK

ThommyTheThird/ThommyTheThird
Description:
This level has been a pain in the butt to tweak, and after atleast 60 hours i finally got everything i know of to work bug free.

This level is all about secrets, if you see an object in this level, it's most likely used to reveal yet another secret :O

WARNING: Meaning it's all about secrets, it's also about thinking logically, and having some patience. This level isn't adviced for the younger audience, since they are unlikely to solve the puzzles. Once again, it's a complex level and may be frustrating.

Most secrets will get you points and this brings a competitive aspect of this level. If you think you discovered all the secrets, but you're still not nr.1 on the scoreboards? Most likely there's more secrets that you don't know about.

There are 3 big secrets, and a lot of small ones. The big ones will give you a major boost of points if you figure out all 3 of them i one run.

I am NOT going to tell you anything about the secrets, or where to find them. It's all up to YOU to figure them out, or you can ask other players, but they will most likely not be sharing this kind of information Nobody wants to get their highscore beaten, now do we?

There's also quite a lot of artwork, made out of stickers, spread around the level. I think it gives a nice touch, and breaks the emptiness that's seen in quite a few user-made levels.

The only hazard found in this level will be lightning.

If you fall off, and think.. Uh-oh, i can't get back up. Well you probably can. You just have to think, or walk around it

Warning: It might not be for the easily-frustrated, because it ca contain some hard platforming parts. - ThommyTheThirdOur Thoughts:
I've spent probably about 4 hours or so in this level, which is quite alot for an LBP level. It's not so much long, as it is deep, involving and mentally stimulating. Only after fully exploring, understanding and mastering this level can you formulate a methodical plan of action to successfully conquer it with a clear conscience. The aesthetics are gorgeous, and it has a clear and defined visual style that perfectly compliments it's puzzling gameplay. It also has what is probably the most visually pleasing and functional use of stickers in any level. There is no switch triggers, merely carefully selected stickers that convey clues and feelings and combine together to create miniature pieces of wall art with it's relatively limited means. After finally discovering all 3 secrets and finishing the level with knowledge in hand, I believe I can rest easy and leave this interactive Rubix Cube obsession alone for awhile. - NinjaMicWZ

Wyth/Wyth
Description:
Experienced Explorere Jack McSetback sets out on another adventure. Hearing of a second Sun Idol he travels to a friendly knight to find out more....

After months of hard work, the second episode of Jack McSetbacks adventures is finally finished. The gameplay is similair to the first one but the theme is wholly different. Play it and let me know what you think. Good critical points will surely be listened to and it might lead to a change in the level. Have fun!
- WythOur Thoughts:
It was a pretty obvious guess that this level would be good going into it, just off the strength of the original, and I wasn't disappointed. It takes everything from the original that made it great, gives it a new spin, alot more character and better details like lighting... more effects and thrills, and tons of fun through the use of ingeniously designed platform mechanics. Normally when a level starts falling apart, it's your own creation breaking and you're about to throw the controller through the TV, but with this level... it falls apart on purpose, and for once, it does it right. - NinjaMicWZ
Wyth is a great level engineer. He has a handle on the LittleBigPlanet physics more than any other author I've seen - and he uses it to do some astounding, organic feeling things. In his latest creation he has created a fantastic, fun creation where all of the platforming is snappy, and all his contraptions function in a really entertaining way. But not only that, this level is beautiful to look at and has a great story. Keep it up! And thank you for giving us such entertaining and well-crafted levels to play. - CCubbage

Description:
"Kikaiwa: Tom S. and H. Fin"

It's a Co-op level making use of the flying paintinator. There are two bosses(i'm very proud of) and some varied things between them

"Kikaiwa: Strain of life"

You basically are on an train. While you progress the passed segments get detached.
Altough it uses the infinit level technique i managed to use just 3/4 of the thermometer what baffled me first. Perhaps i'm going to use this free space to add more detail one day. - VanemieraOur Thoughts:
This is a great series, that innovates in different ways with both installments. If you can't get enough of the flying paintinator, play part 1 and indugle in some really awesome co-op gameplay with your most capable friend. It's got tons of ingenious and complex mechanics, and the sequel will impress even the most jaded regular with it's perfectly implemented and executed scrolling backgrounds and level progression... it will also give you a great challenge and an inventive new platforming, puzzle, or boss segment in each area. Easily some of the most involving VR levels out there, and Vanemiera has a knack for making it look more detailed and intricate than usual. - NinjaMicWZ
It's difficult for me to get together with others to play co-op, so I checked out Kikaiwa: Strain of life. This level was AMAZING. The feeling of speed, combined with exciting and varied gameplay - every section of the train gives you entirely new challenges to keep the gameplay fresh - and the visuals are immaculate! - CCubbageMedia:

Description:

After what seemed like an eternity, my level is finally complete. I suffered from writers/creators block, the unglue bug, and 2 failed to load bugs, but now that's behind me and I can share my baby with the world. - RickTheRipperOur Thoughts:
This level is full of personality, creativity, and character, and a careful and attentive approach to polish where deaths are never cheap and even the sounds are part of the story.... it's also got alot of challenge and is HUGE. There's a new obstacle or action sequence around every corner, and upon completion will usually treat you to further explanation of a great plot to take down this villainous organization. This level has the best helicopter battle, bar none, and it's mid boss is probably the coolest character I've seen in LBP as well as a mechanically ingenious combination of two battles that add to his character as well as the play mechanics. If you can buckle down and immerse yourself in this epic for awhile, it'll be well worth it. Swingin' from lamps and makin' ninja noises is definitely my style. - NinjaMicWZ
This is a level that truly plays like a full-blown action movie epic. There are strong visuals, great use of light, some really original gameplay segments, strong writing, hidden areas and so much more! Clearly a lot of thought went into every aspect of this level and it really shows. Just when you think you are almost done the level you find out you are only half-way there and it seems like it goes on forever which in this case is a very good thing. The story is fully fleshed out and features some very clever implementation of cutscenes. One of the best things about the level is that it features TWO full fledged boss battles both of which are very very cool. The merits of the level are endless so check it out and see for yourself! - OCK

Serpit/TheSerpit
Description:
You assume the role of a celestial emissary, sent down to Earth to investigate a mysterious village that has detached itself from the rest of the world for unknown reasons. You will descend from the heavens, follow the clouds, climb down an enormous lighthouse and then enter the village itself. As you make your way through the level, the story will gradually unfold and the tragic secret of the Timeless Village will be revealed.

While the level contains a few platforming sections, most of the gameplay focuses on solving puzzles to advance through the village. You will have to explore your surroundings and pay attention to the environment to find the solution to most of your problems. I recommend that you don't play it if you are very impatient or are prone to give up easily.

Another big part of the level is the story and the atmosphere. I tried my best to give the village a somewhat ethereal feel through the lighting and music used. There is a relatively large amount of text, at least compared to your average LBP level. The mystery of the village will be revealed bit by bit, and finally solved near the end, where the level culminates in a boss battle that keeps true to the puzzle theme of the whole stage as well.

I've been around the GFAQs LBP boards for a while, and the response to the Timeless Village there has been pretty positive so far. Out of 11 individual reviews, the scores average to 8,9/10.

So, if you are a fan of complex puzzles combined with a nice story, I suggest you check the Timeless Village out, and I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I did creating it =D - SerpitOur Thoughts:
The world here really is Timeless... it's a touching story wrapped up in a quiet, ethereal landscape meant to captivate you and ask for you time and attention, to solve it's mysteries, evaluate it's standing, and right the wrongs of it's mortal past. Everything in this level is about thinking outside the box, and will never quite spell it out for you, but will allow you to find the rewarding thrill of overcoming the environment with a little bit of platforming and alot of observational thought. It's a sad story, a happy ending, and an elegant stage. - NinjaMicWZ

Description:
Its taken about a month to complete, and once again has topped the thermo. I listen to all of your feedback on the first when designing the second and took into account a lot of your comments. Due to difficulty issues with the chopper battle, I've moved this to a seperate level to be posted by the weekend. It took a load of thermo and I decided to flesh out the level instead. - GrantosUKOur Thoughts:
This series gives you the latest cutting edge technology and innovations in counter intelligence and espionage... if you choose to accept this mission, you will self destruct in 30 seconds. Why? Because this sequel to an already amazing level, is even better than the first. It's built to a perfect scale, has arguably the most sound architecture of any realistic environment, and is filled to the brim with impressive mechanics that are almost always interactive and reward the player with more fun, more story, and more goals. He mixed this entry up with a bit more platforming than the original, but did it in a way that doesn't break the illusion or interfere with the idea of being all your favorite Hollywood spies rolled into one. It seems even moe cinematic somehow. The intel system, easter eggs, and MGS style inside jokes found in the dialogue and the environment put this entry on another level in terms of finding an identity and breaking the 4th wall. Can't recommend it enough. - NinjaMicWZ

Thank you guys. It really means so much to me to be spotlighted. I honestly had a love/hate relationship with The Fall of Winter because of an incident that happened on gamefaqs back in November, where someone refused to review my level because they felt it wasn't worthy... so I left, and ... that's when I found this place, and I'm glad I did.

You guys said some really nice things, and I really really appreciate it. It's good to know that after the hell I've been through making the levels and trying tirelessly to promote them, that people actually enjoy them. It makes me feel like my work isn't for nothing! ^_^

I also want to congratulate the others in the spotlight. I really need to get around to playing all of these!!! I was very happy to see that Serpit got Timeless village featured, as well as graygoose and Gruntos. They, like me, are gamefaqs converts!

Thanks again, everyone!

You know, I gotta tell you - I had sooo much fun with Grinder! I could tell it was probably easier to create than your other levels, but I went back and played it several times. Great job! The fun REALLY came together on this one. Loved the fast pace.

And also, congrats to ALL the authors on the Spotlight - there are definately a lot of levels breaking new ground out there!

Man, I love the Spotlight, not because my level was picked (thank you all by the way), but because it always contains a few great levels that have slipped under my radar. I can't wait to play some of these for the first time as well as revisit some of the others. Congrats to everyone who was spotlighted!2009-02-22 14:13:00

Holy!!! Wow, I was Spot Lighted!!! WHOOO!!! You guys just made my day . Congrats to all the other people who have made the list too! I've played a few of the other Spot Lighted (and some of those Inactive Users) levels and have to say Wow.

The only problem I see is "Classic Top Down Shooter" isn't the name of the level , it's titled "Super Color Shooter". Thanks

He's right, he's right over the minimum now.

Your level was the first one put under inactive as soon as we started compiling them. The one's I picked for inactive, I checked on to make sure and switched them to active and did the write up. I apologize for the oversight, and if ConfusedCartman will allow me to edit and do the write up I will be glad to add it to active.

edit: I PM'd him the write up, it will be added.

Anyway, congrats to everyone. There are so many great levels being posted in the showcase lately that it feels impossible to keep the spotlight episodes concise and readable lol - but that's a good thing. I'm sure it will be even bigger next time. I played every single one except Grinder and Basilisk Bog and loved 'em all, but I still plan to squeeze those two in as I know they've got to be great. Thanks for making LBP continually fresh, and remain the best game out there well after it's release, and keeping the boards full of quality choices. Please keep it up.2009-02-22 22:44:00
