We've recently had lots of plat-formers and mini-games for the competitions but there are some things in Little Big Planet that aren't used as much now. We often see lots of emitters, attract-o-tweakers, sticker pannels and sackbots with special effects. What has been left out for a while is power-ups that were brought into Little Big Planet 2. Therefore, I think that having a competition for the most imaginative and creative idea for a level with a specific power-up. For example the grabinators could be used to throw players at targets, complete puzzles that require throwing things into accurate places or using controllinators to make it look like the grabinators do more than lift heavy objects. These are the basic things that the power-ups can do: Grappling Hook: Grapple object to climb up, quickly reach something when falling, grabbing far away objects. Brain Crane: Grabs objects through walls, acts as a cursor, activates switches that can't be reached. Diving Gear: Allowing players to survive in water for as long as they want. Grabinators: Allows players to lift bigger/heavier grab-able objects. Creatinator: Used to create weapons, tools, sackbots, logic and anything else that it emits. Paintinator: Earlier version of the Creatinator that can be used to shoot paint-balls that leaves a mess on the floor! Jet-pack: Allows players to fly around the level. (Limited with tethered jet-pack) Controllinator: Not actually classed as a power-up but can give power up effects to objects with the player's control. Hero Cape: Gives players the ability to glide when in mid air for longer jumps. The possibilities are endless with all of these crazy and sophisticated power-ups and a lot more can be done with them than what they have been designed for.
