Customizable Pop-it Colors

Archive: 19 posts

I don't understand why this wasn't a feature in LBP2, but here we go:

Why do we have to only get the basic 12 pop-it color schemes? Why can't we just have our own?

We should get the same color wheel and brightness options for materials, lights, etc. to change the main, secondary, and text colors. Also, we should be able to save and name our custom color schemes.

In addition to this there should still be 12 default color schemes that look nice, but this would improve the versatility.

Yes! It would add more individuality! I'm tired of half my friends having a red pop-it and then having others confuse me with them >_<2014-08-17 20:41:00

It'd be nice to have color sliders for your primary and secondary popit colors...2014-08-17 21:01:00

No kidding, the midnight/whateverit'scalled blue color is almost all I ever see. I think it's because people don't like the other default schemes. They're a little hard on the eyes and don't contrast well with the other pop-it items.2014-08-19 03:27:00

It would also be nice if we could choose the specific color those costumes and decorations that take on the popit color go to. If I have a red popit what if I want to make a feather decoration blue or white? I don't want to have to change to those popit colors and I'm sure many people think this as well. It would also allow a wider range of colors to use for these.

So what you're saying is that they should keep the 12 default colours, but add a sort of "more colours" option.
What if, when you selected "more colours", you had the option to choose from more predetermined colours or if those don't satisfy you, then you could bring up the colour wheel/sliders?
This feature is a great idea. They definitely should do it.

I've always wanted to see this in lbp. But how about also customizing the secondary color and text color. I don't know about you guys, but when someone's popit color was white, I had a really hard time reading what they said when they used text chat.2014-08-21 01:56:00

Yeah. Being able to choose text color would be helpful but then there's those people who will choose blue text with a blue popit. Maybe there could be a way to prevent similar text and popit color

Customizable pop-it colors confirmed?

Customizable popit, more than 12, the total number would then not be able to be divided by 4 to get 3...

Half-life three not confirmed?

But all srsness, I was kind of expecting this for LBP2, I thought MM would have seen the Black Popit (Which was sleek as ---- btw), and integrated it somewhat.

Many people miss the black popit from LBP1 I know I sure do so it would be very nice to be able to choose the colors you wanted and adjust the brightness just like how you can with materials except this could allow you to select a primary and secondary color, maybe even a third color.

It would also be really cool to be able to set temporary popit colours ingame for sackbots/players that walk through the player change gate thing they showed off.2014-09-08 06:12:00

Interesting idea. I wouldn't push it to be added but it would still be neat. The more options the better, right?
