Please give it a playthrough (it's very short) and leave some suggestions- pacing, how to start it, etc. Thank you. EDIT: The level is now a teaser for a full level or even series for The Haunting of Merch Hill. I added a lot yesterday. EDIT II: I'm about to start working on a point-n'-click feature! EDIT III: Point and click feature has been added! EDIT IV: Level has been completed. | 2014-08-17 06:16:00 Author: The Actual Kid Posts: 36 |
I just let you a 1/2 review, reminds me The silent hill saga, but this has potential, those guys with the bags are kind of creepy. | 2014-08-17 09:59:00 Author: chongue Posts: 57 |

Link to level: https://lbp.me/v/qs0dhzx Anyway, I started making this a while ago and just improvised it. Please give it a quick playthrough (it's very short) and leave some suggestions- pacing, how to start it, etc. Thank you. I am thinking what his level needs is a hide mechanic and a pursuer. From what is looks like your level will require alot of exploring. So maybe add a point and click adventure style or have you look for individual objects. Whether it be survivers or an escape. However I would keep the level non linear and time being of the issue for example if you got for person A after 5 mins they would be dead but person B could withold 10 minutes with a different cause for each. Multiple endings deppending on how many people you manage to save. If you really want to add some emotion and an interesting twist partner up characters so if girl A is saved but Boy B doesn't survive Girl A will take her own life. Giving the people your rescuing some backstory and chemistry between them. Giving a better character allowing for us to be more inclided to save them. | 2014-08-18 01:15:00 Author: Jonarrthan Posts: 310 |

I added something of a hide mechanic and a pursuer. (hint: top floor) There's a key needed to open a door when you get to the second story and also two items needed to open the farthest door. The character idea is pretty good, I'll think about about that. There will likely be some people you'll stumble across. EDIT: Now I'm really digging the point-n'-click thing. I briefly thought about it before but now it seems great. For example, when you go near key objects a clue bubble pops up telling you to search it. But with a point-n'-click feature, YOU find it, making it more rewarding and interesting. | 2014-08-18 02:25:00 Author: The Actual Kid Posts: 36 |
