Hey everyone, I'm back with another contest that will hopefully keep you entertained or challenged until LittleBigPlanet 3 finally comes out! Now, we've had many contests highlighting the amazing skills of creators in LBP, but I'd like to hold a contest for the creative types who create incredible things outside the game! The concept won't force you to create a level or a scene or a song! No, this time you'll be making... (As the title says) http://i.imgur.com/lqdaWrt.png The basic theme for this is going to be centered around anything and everything LittleBigPlanet 3! We've had amazing art featured on the official LittleBigPlanet (https://twitter.com/LittleBigPlanet) Twitter account from members just like you who have been inspired to create something as they anticipate the arrival of the next generation of LBP! I thought it would be fun to get more of you involved in that same fun by throwing this neat art contest, so let's move on to the information you need and want! Mediums You don't have to necessarily draw so feel free to create whatever art you want! We will focus mainly on art outside LBP so avoid creating levels for this contest! That being said, you can go ahead redecorate your dad's car into a Sackmobile or dress your cat in an Oddsock costume! Also, you don't need expensive equipment, tools, or software to win, pencil and paper work great! *Updated to allow art created in LBP (details below)* Rules and Guidelines Create an original previously unpublished piece of art relating to LBP3 No more than one entry allowed Post artwork here or send directly to me through any forum PM or Twitter Publish your entry by November 2nd at 11:59 GMT (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?iso=20141102T2359&p1=1440&msg=LBP3%20Art%20Contest%20Deadline) (Click for easy conversion/timer!) This is very interesting I sure would like a free copy of LittleBigPlanet 3, even second would be great, money of purchasing the game itself. I suppose I could spend an hour or two drawing some stick sacks. Wish I had some felts or crayons. Also good luck folks!

Oh, ok, well I hope you read everything. Also, I'd suggest making 3rd place $20, and 2nd place $50. Also, PSN cards are region specific, so if the winner is in Canada, you're going to have to find another way to give them a card, because the code won't work. However, you could use paypal for simply transferring money and expect them to get a PSN card. XD

Oh, wow. I had no idea a Community Contests section exists. Sweet!! I do have a quick question though. Are we limited to one entry or can we submit as much LBP3 art as we please? This would be my entry choice if only 1 is allowed... It depicts Sackboy and his new friends/pets/siblings inside their room, and him adjusting to both Toggle's crazy behavior. It was unbelievable how much work this took, how many layers I had in Photoshop, and how many revisions I had to make. I made this fan art solely FOR LBP3, no contests involved, so it was purely out of my love and passion for the series. Sadly this process fried out my GPU in my laptop and as a result my computer is abnormally slow now. So it'd be cool to know my poor laptop's death wasn't in vain haha, so I'm throwing this into the contest. Good luck to everyone here, I know this community is a creative bunch so they won't have any problems. http://i61.tinypic.com/oi9kx4.jpg As for my second entry, if allowed: This is something I threw together in Ceramics. I'm considering the difference between unpublished and published to be no pieces that were created more than a month before the contest to be allowed as entries. Update Most updates to the forums, with some exceptions, seem to be coming every week or so, but I'm considering how exactly to display every entry right now, so don't worry if you don't see yours on here right now! If it was pre-ordered in the PlayStation Store, you'll get the LBP3 T-sirt pack (4 shirts). If it was pre-ordered at GameStop, you'll get the Mythical Creatures, the Hidden Animals, and a couple other DLCs. Target; you get a little stuffed animal sack key chain thing. Amazon, Best Buy, all have something different... most will be DLCs. I seen a list of them but now I cant find it, but you get the idea.

So the end has unfortunately arrived! I've been without much computer (and Internet) access all day, but I'm finally glad to be back home with the chance to seal the contest! First off, I'm very thankful for everyone who participated by art or encouragement! Everyone continually amazed me with their incredible entries although now I'm forced to make a very difficult decision from all the incredible works of art! I'll be sure to have the results posted as soon as I can so stay tuned for that! (Possibly in a week or less) Also, the "Tasty Entries" section has not been updated in a while due to some issues, but I'm planning to compile those together soon, so don't be discouraged just because yours is not up there! (I've actually been meaning to put up an "in maintenance" GIF) It's been a great experience doing this and hopefully I'll do something similar later on! I can honestly say that this has been the most exciting of all previous contests I've held before with much more community participation! Take care for now and see you all in LBP3!
