Hello, Any time I read the comments on a popular/ story level, I usually encounter a solid two or three pages of comments along the lines of "play my levels." I normally just "boo" all the advertisements and move on. When I go to another level's comment page, I see more or less the same lineup of players with the same advertisements. It infuriates me to see the comments page slowly become a billboard for other players who have no respect for the level authors' efforts. I think a proper way to fix the comments is to either implement a word/phrase filter system that can be configured by the player (e.g. block "h4h" or "play my"), or to implement a "Report Spam" button under the "yay" and "boo" ratings (that is, if they decide to keep this rating system.) Good day. Do your levels get spammed a lot? Because mine do, and I don't care. Actually no I do care, but I approve of it. I want people to ask first plays because how else am I to find their levels? You'll occasionally find a pretty decent level by clicking those ads and I think it would be doing a lot of people a disservice to crack down on this, especially when you can already choose to disable your comments

It basically takes away people freedom of speech. We already have a feature to block people from commenting on your profile and your levels. We already have the ability to boo useless advertise comments that should be ignored automatically. We have the report button if someone comments something bad. You don't need to turn LBP into Youtube just because some kids advertise to get plays. For some people, the only way to get plays is to advertise. It's not really a bad thing, if it's written right. People have their comments on for a reason. To get feedback, reports and just nice comments. Unfortunately there will always be bad comments as well, but you must remember, it's basically the internet and everyone has the right to comment whatever they like.
