Looking through my materials right now, I see no stone material that really resembles rocks. The rough stone bricks are as close as I get to real rock or something, but it's already being used in the same section that I need a rock-like material for, as something else(mountain). So basically, I got like a mountain made out of Rough Stone Bricks, and the mountain isn't on the "Floor" of the level. It's floating. I want to use a good material for the outside floor of the mountain, and using the Rough Stone Bricks wouldnt be good as they're already being used for the actual mountain. Most of my stone materials wouldnt be appropriate for the ground outdoors, as they're all some sort of concrete or decorative stone. What's the material used in the Canyons levels, like in Boom Town? The material they use for the rocks and stuff would be perfect for my level probably, however I'm not sure if they used an actual stone material or a wood material that looks like stone. Can anyone help. And any suggestions for a solid(lol) rock-like material? One that would look good as the ground outdoors like I mentioned before. Exact name and level you get it in would be helpful. I have 100% in Canyons btw.

You could try making it with a light coloured stone and then stickering it.

Possibly, I'll try that. Is there really no other rock-like material? What's the one used in Boom Town, right in the beginning?

The boom town one is called red wood but they've rotated it so the lines go sideways

There are many more unlockable rock types. Best way to get materials is to progress through the game and you will get loads more.

The rock-boulder like material is found in the japan levels. Before then, basic metal is probably your best bet for natural looking rockface. There are a bunch of different concrete materials in the metropolis levels as well.

Yep basic metal is probably your best bet. It rarely seems get used for anything other than rocks in the user created levels.

Yeah i agree, on my first map i used basic metal thinking that it was rock for a while. Only figured out after i published my map that it was a metal and not rock
