Emitters aren't working

I'm trying to make a main menu, but for some reason things like the checkpoint, stages, and karts aren't emitting. Like the checkpoint is activated on a sequencer during a loading screen, the stages and karts are activated by AND gates. Anyone know any reason why the emitters may not be working?2014-08-03 05:34:00

Is this for lbp2 or lbpk? because I've never played lbpk but here is what may be wrong in LBP 2.

first, check to be sure that the emitters are triggering. You can easily do this in create mode by plugging whatever triggers the emitter into anything that you can easily see has been triggered, be it a counter, or a light, or both.

If the emitters are being triggered but are not working, check your emitter settings. It should probably be set to emit once, lifetime unlimited, Max emitted at once 1, destroy oldest no.

If it is set up properly but won't emit, the emitter must be failing. If the level is too full, emitters won't work. Make sure you've destroyed enough stuff to free up some space. And MAKE SURE THAT THE LEVEL ENTRANCE DOES NOT HAVE A 100% ANTI GRAVITY TWEAKED ON IT, OR IS GLUED TO ANYTHING THAT DOES OR DARK OR LIGHT MATTER. This scenerio will for some reason render the thermometer stuck and unable to decline when things are destroyed.

Well thanks, its because I put on an anti gravity tweaker on the checkpoint, so the players can get in the controllnators. Should I just put checkpoint on the ground and increase trigger radius?

It doesn't have to be it can be sitting on something anyone gravity as long a it isn't glued.
