his coming year I was supposed to take French 1 and Advanced Band. I'm definitly taking band but I can only choose 1 of those 2 as they are at the same time. My only other options are Keyboarding, Spanish, Art 2, and Independent Living. Which do I take? Keyboarding sounds excruciatingly boring, Art 2 is with a mean teacher, independent living is for girls and gays (no offense), and my school sucks at teaching languages. One of my sisters friends who went to Govenors school failed French 2 because it was taught terribly at our school (she got all A's in French 1 though). Please help. My sister might just be really bad at languages (very likely) and I'll have to do Spanish then switch in high school or I can be miserable in Art. Help me quickly please!!!! I chose Spanish

If you have to decide between French and Advanced Band, took the second, I had 2 years french on my school and it was so terrible that I changed my school because of france. I'm serious!

Are you taking any other languages? If not, definately take your favorite out of Spanish or French (or any other languages your school may offer). My high school offers: Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, French, German, & Latin. I'm taking German & Latin next year & I took Latin & Spanish next year. Spanish is extremely easy but also VERY boring & irritiating in my opinion - I can't stand the way it sounds. I really like Latin & I want to live around Germany when I get older. Plus, my mother lived in Germany for a few years so she can help me. So basically, take language(s), it is very useful when you get older plus it looks really good for college.

@ Marino I'm in 8th grade, we don't have any languages. Just French, Spanish, and German. I decided to go for Spanish and I'll glide through it easily and choose a language I really want to know in Governors School.

Take theater!!! thats what i do My dad majored in Thetre and Arts, now he works at Capital One. I'm not saying thats a bad job, its actually great. He's paid well, he loves computers, they have all these special carnivals and snack days, it's like kindergarten. I'm just saying that theatre arts won't led you many places. Sorry for the rant. ALSO thatre is a club at our school, not a class.

Spanish or Keyboarding. Spanish is actually useful, but Keyboarding is incredibly easy. Good way to get an A with almost no work - it's like a credited study hall.

I would do spanish or keyboarding, probably keyboarding because its so **** easy becuase everyone here probably can type very fluently. so its a really easy A+, plus it sounds relaxing, just typing for an hour or 30 mins.... very calm
