I'm hoping to be able to do more with water. Instead of just adding water to a level, maybe you could tweak the type of liquid it is. Such as water, lava, toxic fluid, mud, etc. Also, instead of just having a sea of water throughout the entire level, I'd like to be able to add puddles or lakes here and there. Maybe I want to create a real muddy pit. That would be cool.

It would be awesome but the real question is if the engine could handle it properly... It would just be changing the design of the water and what happens when you touch it. Touching Lava would just be the fire burn animation Touching Toxic would just be the horrible gas animation Touching Mud, well, I guess it would slow you down? Making water and these as material would be easy to add to.

Yea I don't see what would be so complicated about this. May just be a thing where it adds to your thermometer significantly. A developer with Sumo Digital stated in a PS Access interview that there would be more than 60 new creation tools, so we'll see if this makes the cut.
