I'm Creating Bots In LBP 2 Then Transferring All The Stuff To LBP 3 . I'de Rather Do The Stages On LBP 3 Because Of The 16 Full Functional Layers2014-07-28 03:28:00

I have a level I started in LBP 1, brought it to LBP 2 and I never finished it. I will definitely use it in 3. I have already thought of some specific revisions.2014-07-28 03:34:00

Assuming memorizer labels carry over, I'll likely continue the RPG level I've been making recently. I've got all the logic for the inventory and skills and such set up to be saveable, but it'd be great to have the 16 layers for map design. I'm sure I'll get the prologue out before LBP3, but that'll probably be about it.2014-07-28 08:22:00

Most of my projects will carry over, Including one from LBP1. I'm not overwriting the levels, simply, releasing a LBP3 updated version. Although, it depends on what's/how many new tools they introduce.2014-07-28 23:42:00

I've been working on a project of mine in LBP2 for about 2 years. Kinda gave up on it due to the constraints with LBP2. Definitely finishing it in LBP3 though. The 16 layers will bring my project even more to life! 2014-07-29 13:26:00

I might transfer my hunger games project into lbp3 if I don't get it finished in lbp2, if only lbp3 had more players, 8 would be perfect!

Oh and using custom powerups would just be the icing on the cake!

I have about 7 unfinished levels that i'm sure would be huge if I finished/released them. I've decided to continue to polish them up and release them in Littlebigplanet 3. For example,I have one level in the works where you are a king of monsters fallen from the sky and you summon other monsters to eat people/fight for you. That will be released LBP3,I think its added camera angles will help with minion control. 2014-07-30 07:42:00

I planned to have something published Oct/Nov and don't want to delay that.

However it'd be silly not to have it also on LBP3 at the same time. Doubtful that it'll have any specific LBP3 stuff though.

Will probably then rework the assets to be more LBP3 focused.

I'm just working on a little hangout level for me and some friends, I figured I may as well make it public. I already made some of the scenery on LBP2 but none of it has really been put together yet. I made the scenery with consideration that LBP3 has 3D layers that are accessible so that's a project I'll certainly be working on in LBP3.2014-08-02 20:32:00

If the logic is simpler in lbp3 I may transfer the chao garden level I've been working on. Just hope they change the memorizer to remember everything in the level rather than what you put the output in. As it is in order to make it remember what level your chao is you have to make some really complicated logic to remember each 1 individually rather than let it record what you're doing then remember everything like remember that sticker you placed in the background and that bomb u accidentally blew up withou having seperate outputs to trigger everything.2014-08-04 13:59:00

That would be very convenient but could cause some lag when loading up a level (Like if someone placed too many stickers)

I'm close to finishing my Marvel RPG. I'm skeptical of releasing the full version on LBP2 as I've made heavy use of the 3D glitch, logic, emitters, sackbots, menus and tweakers. There's already a risk of crashing on load. I'm hoping the dephysicaliser/optimisation tools in LBP3 will make it more stable.2014-08-04 18:51:00

I know what you mean with the crashing on load thing. I'd say keep it in beta for now and wait till LBP3. After all there was that announcement on how it's not limited by Thermometer Though that's just what I would do. The decision is up to you since it's your level ^^

I'm definitely leaning in this direction. I think the menus are what's crashing it so I might get rid of them and replace it with randomizers.

Oh yeah, I've noticed complex menu screens seem to freeze me a lot as well and the same goes for some other players I know. I'll test out your beta when I get the chance (It looks very nice judging by the pictures)

Most definitely. I've had a project (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=60312-Project-Soul) on my Moon I could never get around to completing, just because I wasn't happy with how it was turning out. Then I stepped away from LBP for about a year. Now with what's available in LBP3, especially the 16 layers and lack of thermo/seamless linked levels, I feel I can make what I wanted to make back then but couldn't.

for 3 years i've been working on the perfect first person shooter engine that's easy to use and that anybody can mess with. im gonna finish this project for LBP2, but im thinking of remaking my old fps levels (not on my earth anymore) from scratch, im hoping with there officially being more layers and more to do with them, im hoping to do some crazy stuff, i want my first person weapons to have moving parts that change layers, when your loading your weapon, you can *dangit forum u censored this and it isnt anything bad* the gun and see the parts move and stuff, the parts of the pistol actually move when loading, etc.2014-08-07 20:13:00

I've been working on a level for probably over a year on and off (days and days poured into it). It hardly resembles LittleBigPlanet at all, and has 50+ functioning sprite animations. I haven't been using the trick where the sprite just follows Sackboy with a level overlayed between them either. It's kind of a point & click RPG game, however, it's become so full of microchips that it won't run at a reasonable framerate. I'm hoping LittleBigPlanet 3 on the PS4 will change that.

I've also got a different exploration/mystery/adventure/point&click level on a misty grey island. I love the atmosphere that I created, but my logic is a mess (it was an early level) and I was going to run out of thermo space sooner rather than later. With 13 new layers, I can't wait to revisit it.

Matt and I was going to make Dawn Of Dragon Sky (One of my next chapters of the upcoming LBP Project Series), Project Morph, Planets Of The What? Series and an Knightmare: LBP2 Remastered Project but... with more Tools, 1080p Grapics, and bunch of other stuff on LBP3 i'm sure we'll be Transferring my projects to LBP3

At this point Matt and I are currently making the final LBP2 Project or so we say the first of a brand new adventure. Stay Tuned!

Well with LBP3 I can actually bring my Cyborg game to real fruition.

This has been delayed for close to 5 years. Started as an idea near the end of LBP1 then moved over to 2 but became a grander task that the game just didn't provide the tools to accomplish. With LBP3 and what i've seen so far, it literally ticks every box with what i need to get it to the way i envisioned all those years back.

Here's the link to the project. I'll get a new LBP3 Project thread sorted at some point.

Well I'm thinking about transferring my RPG, but what I do know is I'm finally going to be able to make a survival game based on Lost in Blue that I never got around to finishing. Using the dynamic thermometer I could make it a huge exploration game with many islands to explore. That is if you manage to survive and build a boat.2014-10-19 04:35:00
