Nope just a dedicated recreation. Games like Mario, can be visually sculpted pixel by pixel with the small grid. From there, logic can be implemented to recreate the animations and movement and such. It isn't easy, but it's very possible and certainly not a mod Lol

There is no mods to it. The creator just created the level from scratch, and with alot of work, they finished it and made it look exactly like the actual game!2014-07-28 00:08:00

LOL, don't let these jokers lie to you. Yes, there is a "mod," actually, it's special DLC that you have to special order straight from Media Molecule. It's pricey though. I know several people who have gotten it. It's around $200 for the kit but it allows for creation of such stuff as that. It's real easy too. Basically there is a drop down menu and you just select what game you want to "recreate" and it builds it for you. And it's random each time! That's why there are so many different versions of the same "mario" style levels. There's also an even more expensive "DLC" that is around $500 that will build a really cool level for you. Yup, I'm letting the secret out. This one is even cooler. You just type into the interface what you want it to do and hit the "create" button and Bam! It builds it right there. This is how CompherMC, SteveBigGuns, Lockstitch and the like, have made their levels. I doubt they're going to have it available for LBP3 though

I'm full of crap. There is no such DLC.

It's not hard to do it's just a chore with all the sprites, the logic is easy to put together.2014-07-28 04:08:00

It's pretty close to one... I have an animated level I made called dungeon break that had around a 6 month development time.

If you wanna try some more animated stuff, I have a few recommendations.
