It’s a different style, but a continuation of Neon for Eons
[1 Player Only - for best results]

This game takes you Beyond the Neon experience. The adventure begins after exiting the “Neon for Eons” training facility.
You just got bad news, uh-oh! You must head to the other side of the building to settle your debt.
In the meantime you face many challenges, faulty security-bots, and may even have a chance to be a hero.

*Warning! You may find yourself having too much fun, so don’t forget to drink plenty of fluids. Thanks.

Can anybody please tell me if the level link to Sector 2 of my game failed? I noticed a lot of people were not moving on to the second part of the game. Thanks everyone! 2014-07-28 01:00:00

i noticed that a lot in my level too, thats why i patched it to include the last sub level (the game ending) unlockable in the menu, just for the case it fails.

i think you can't do something about it. also sometimes people stop playing because of time issues or get multi player requests or just think its to difficult for them.

The link worked beautifully for me. I love how you made that link BTW. Smooth transition. Anyway, Dude! Dude. Dooooood. I was really floored by this. I mean, I liked the first one, but man, I loved the architecture of this. I loved, loved, loved it. I thought the gameplay was solid and really didn't want it to end. I found myself wanting to explore every nook and cranny of this facility. Excellent work man. Awesome.

Thanks! Those words mean a lot coming from you. Yeah I got a tip on how to transition level links. I was told to have as little as possible happening on screen when the link is activated. I wish it's true for most people.

Wonderful level my dear!

I had so much fun while playing
because I'm not very successful with hard levels, but Your level has such a great balance between challenge and fairness

Great work!

The level was great. Definitely not something where you can complete everything on the first try. It seemed to have multiple paths at points which I thought was cool. Not huge deviations or anything, but more like 'if you're really good you can do this awesome thing'. I only managed to save one clone, partially because I didn't realize their purpose.

Lots of fun!

Lots of fun! Thank you for playing and for the compliments. Yeah there are two paths in-case you fail on some sections and a third alternate split-path for hidden points and easy escape at the end. Thanks for noticing!

oh, so my lots of edges and the sequence happening while the link get activated is increasing the chance for it to fail loading the next level?
hhmmmnnmmm... that is something i could try. sadly i can't test it. i never had a problem in my level: i played it like 1000 times without a level fail, i just heard other people saying it went to a black screen without loading sometimes.

so you think if i move away the camera and than activate it it loads better? (sorry for kinda off topic)

That is the theory! Activate after the camera is still with nothing complex happening on screen. I also heard purposely killing the player at some point during the game will help to unlock the link, but I didn't do that. I guess that should help if a player voluntarily/or accidently dies on there own.

yeah, poping yourself is a confirmed officlal solution for that, (they mention it all the time in the lbpc pics level hub) but who should know that it is "bug"-locked without seeing the level link?
also what about levels you should be possible to ace. i hoped for an update but i guess thats not happening, i hope lbp3 works better that way.

Two thumbs up from me! Game play and design were very good. You said it was a different style and I missed the neon a little, but this level made up for that with it's fun factor. I think this level looked much more polished than the first neon level. What really knocked it out of the park was your attention to detail. So many nice touches like the swoosh sound effect when the player bounced up and through the opening. Also it is so much more interesting when a robot or a laser is used in such creative ways to advance the level.

Awesome work buddy! Keep it up!

I agree #LBP3Wishes

Yeah I thought of making it the same as the first one, but I just wanted to try something different. I'm glad you liked this one though!

Yeah it's fun making a player run sometimes, lol. I appreciate the kind words and your feedback! XD

Update: Someone found a hole in my game and have not responded where it was found so I can fix it. If anybody finds or knows where it's broken, please notify me. Thanks.

This was a nice level, a lot of cool things to see and I liked having multiple ways to beat some sections. However i was put off by the overtutorialization at some places. If you really think it's not clear how to navigate a certain obstacle, maybe there's a problem with the obstacle itself and/ or it's position in the level, and while certainly more work, It's better to solve that directly than to place a bunch of signs (or even make a thankfully optional video walktrough) and call it a day. I think i had more fun in neons for eons, which flowed better, but at least in the visual department this is an improvement.2014-08-02 01:14:00

I actually agree with you 100%. Thank you for the compliment and the feedback. I do too think Neon for Eons was a little more fun, but it was also a different style of game. On this one, I was going more for the visuals while still trying to keep some fun factor. It's true that I over tutorialized this one, because 'Eons got a lot of complaints that they didn't know what to do, so I made a ton of fixes. I wanted this to be easier, but I agree I over did it. I am happy to announce that I went in and republished with many changes, removed some signs and directions, so hopefully the younger kids don't cry
