We are being slammed with new members right now and I have the moderation turned on which means I check to try and insure you are not a bot. ...at least as best as I can. When I got home there were at least 80 new members waiting moderation. I have been working on just that all evening. The thing is, more arrive faster than I can get through them all. Yikes!! ..actually a great problem to have. So new members, please be patient. I will get to you all as soon as I can. Helpful tip... a real working PSN and insure it is spelled correctly. Otherwise I have to go to more effort. ..and welcome!! :star:

You might want to put a big message up on the index stating that all the gaming sites are wrong about codes only being sent out here and only to LBPC members or things are gonna get even crazier once the likes of IGN and Gamespot get hold of the story

I have my iPhone!!! Where I work blocks sites such as this since they are gaming sites, but I'm not totally out if the loop. Maybe just a bit loopy!!

Surely most of those members are here for the beta, not knowing that they can't get picked anymore as there's already a list. Jww, couldn't you and the team wait approving them until AFTER the invites for the betas have been sent? It's cluttering and may aswell get people on the forums that are constantly going to whine about not getting picked for the beta.

No one gets paid, except for the people on the official LBP team, such as StevenI. Everyone from fan-sites is all taking part as volunteers spending their own time and passion doing what they love. -hyper

Say we let 360 in, 10 might be nasty and get booted, 50 might stick around and be great members. Considering how many have joined this site over the years and never even made a single post, it is simply the norm. Again... I appreciate your concern, but it is my issue and we are dealing with it just fine. A bit of history... two months ago, the site was crashing every so often due to some 1000 bots a day getting access. No new members since December, any other new members could not post or reply. I fixed all that and more. So if I want to risk a few nasty folks coming and whining... I think I earned that right. Now... sorry to say, but the intent of this thread was to allow new members to see we are working on getting them processed. Now it is a discussion about what I should be doing and if I should be doing it. I think that a bit silly, especially since I have quite a bit of work to do in the next week... ...unless you would all like to all wait even longer to receive those Beta notifications?

Just another little bit of info.... Please do not create multiple accounts. This slows things down. Also, as jww posted in his op, listing a VALID correctly spelled PSN helps speed the process.

Lady_Luck is graciously helping me in this huge project, so please thank her as well for all her hard work. Last count was we had since the 24th almost 200 new members confirmed and 230 awaiting confirmation. lol I think that is cool as heck regardless of their intentions. ..and seeing how there are several saying hi in the into threads that seem wonderfully nice and love LBP... that's just awesome!!

Oh thanks thanks again and also to LadyLuck And what you said here is also soo true! Some months ago the site crashed every so often and it was pretty annoying. I remember when I was organizing the Vita Christmas Countdown 2 level series and the site crashed just when we were supposed to start publishing... Total chaos. Anyway, the site does look so much more organized and taken care of. And I believe that every member who wishes to join the community should get a chance to join it Surely we won't see again half of them, but some may be staying for long

You don't seem to be reading my response as they should be more than good enough, but you persist. Simply said the only one I see close to whining right now is you. You are starting to irritate me and trust me, that is not a good thing. I hate to do this, but just for my sanity and so sorry for anyone else that has played nice, I am locking this thread.
