New to Forums! Joined due to my interest in creating in LBP Karting and needed to ask a question. I have been a fan of LBP since LBP1 was released. I think LBP Karting is so amazing! Creating in 3D is challenging but so much fun!

Hi Arwen, welcome in our wonderful forum, the place where fans of all different LBP games can meet and have fun together! I've played Karting and really enjoyed the game. I also tried the editor and then... it has been so unfamiliar to me. I've been used the LBP2 editor and I knew that both editors are really different! And then I started a new LBP2 project and then...I didn't try to build an own course anymore. But I'm admiring all creators who can build fantastic Karting courses! I wish you a lot of fun here and maybe I will try one of your levels sometime. Many greetings, Jürgen^^

Thanks guys for the welcome! Having worked in 3D with Maya before it was somewhat easier to grasp for me I believe. The tutorials in LBPK don't do a lot at getting you past the big learning curve. It is very different building in LBPK but once you have that "Aha!" moment - it all makes sense. I say stick with it - rotate the camera around - try different things and ask questions here at the forums, it's worth it - especially as we all wait for LBP3!!

Gosh reading through this thread has given me a sudden desire to go back and mess with the LBPK editor! It's really been a long time... Anyways, I'm very happy to meet you Arwen! I feel like I've said hello before just from your name, but who knows. Like I said, you've helped me decide that maybe working in LBPK would be as fun as it was the first time!
