Do you heart the levels you like?

Seriously.

Are you doing it? Please tell me you do. Seriously, even with the new search system, hearted lists still is the most effective way to find great levels to play.

However, it seems many people aren't getting it. I'm still clicking on alot of usernames and end up in a profile with an empty hearted list. Common, it's soon 6 months after the release now. This shouldn't happen that much.

Hearted lists are awesome because you can access them extremely fast and pretty much from everywhere. You can click on a username in your friendlist, in the level description (the author), in the leaderboards of any levels and also in the comments section.

Another thing that is cool with hearted lists agains a search is that when you search for level, be it by "rating" or any other criteria, you always end up with similar results and you need to go over pages and pages of levels before finding new stuff. With hearted lists, the lastest level the person did heart should be right there in the first page. I dunno if it mathematically saves time but it totally does feel more effective for me.

Anyways, please HEART THE LEVELS YOU LIKE. tks.

Definitely do, but I tend to only heart levels I like enough to want to find and play again.

Sometimes the levels/creators I heart don't seem to show up on my lists, though. I'm not sure why.

Seeing as I'm always playing with my brother on his account, we heart every level we like on there. He has about 11 pages of hearted stuff now.2009-02-19 16:22:00

Absolutely! I heart every level that i think other players will enjoy playing, i agree that hearted lists are a great way of finding good levels, but they are pretty irritating to use if i for example search for a level i've hearted before it takes ten minutes to find it , they need to add a way to get all the level names in an alphabetical list, the only thing close to that we currently have only spans to the ten latest hearted levels. Sure the menus with the planet and moon are very beautiful and they have probably put a lot of time into making them work, but they are practically useless.2009-02-19 16:51:00

Of course! That's the whole point! ^^ But, I'm pretty picky about my hearts, only stuff I'd want to go back and play again.2009-02-19 17:21:00

I am a huge giver of hearts
Any level I rate 5 stars automatically gets a heart from me, and anything I deem cool, or well decorated or fun. There's not a lot of stuff that's good enough, but the ones that are deserve recognition - via a heart

I heart levels I want to play again, levels that are visually pretty, and that are fun to play or unique in some way. I will also heart levels of creators that I perceive to be trying really hard and have shown progress on their level design.

Last check I had 7 pages of hearted levels on my list.

I do of course, but as mentioned above there needs to be a better way of organizing these.

Oftentimes I wanna show one of these levels to someone I know, but I gotta sit there and wave the cursor around the pages for like 5 minutes before I maybe find it....

^basically... some of the levels I heart aren't even like 5 star masterpieces, some are just average or great, and some of them are just goofy or entertaining to me, that I'll show someone later for laughs. I also heart alot of tech and object demos to return to later, or reference to show others later - so my heart list is a mixed bag or high quality stuff, interesting concepts, tech demos, and weird offbeat ridiculousness.

I really wish we could organize them better.... 5 star hearts, 4 star and 3 star etc... miscellaneous categories and whatnot. A real playlist kind of set up.

That's exactly what I expect from a hearted list and why I think it's superior to a search in this game. It's just stuff of interest, we want to play masterpiece but we also want to discover what technical and silly things people have made. Let me tell you that a top rated or top hearted search won't make you find those things.
