Hello and howdy LittleBigCentralites, and welcome to episode 140 of the community spotlight! We've been running at low power this week due to certain members taking a holiday (I mean, how very dare they! There are cookies going stale in the cupboards!) and the sad, sad loss of hyperdude's PS3 (RIP, little trooper) but we are still here, and still fighting, ready to bring you your fortnightly roundup of the very best the level showcase has to offer! It's been a long two weeks, and I'm running on a very small amount of sugar now, so without further ado, let's get on to the whole reason you're here, and see what levels we've got!

Here you will find 20 originally composed music tracks in the form of Music Sequencers! All free to take! I recommend you slap on some good headphones or switch on your stereo system for the best listening experience! TURN DOWN FOR WAT -:|:- Font by ???. Badge by @OMGYOUWOULD. Special thanks to @sandro8708 for testing. I hope you enjoy my work and thanks for playing!
Wooo Musak! I’m always in awe of the toe tappin’tunes people put together for others to enjoy in LBP, and this is no exception. It is exceptional though, so there you have it. Get your Maxwell tapes ready and hunker down in an arm chair and try not to be totally blown away!

*note: A cassette tape was what music came on in the 80’sIn a field where there is talent aplenty this music gallery still manages to stand out. I am probably the least musically literate member of the Crew but even I can spot the quality of the tracks on offer here. Varied, subtle, beautifully crafted – it is genuinely astonishing what musicians have done with only the LBP music sequencers at their disposal and Buddydestruction is a past master at the art. The presentation is amazing too. There’s even a dash of humour (if you know the right buttons to press xD) but the music is the crowning glory and speaks for itself

http://i0.lbp.me/img/bl/1b04917d0fbdfe8b628290c5352accba07fc73af.pngLost in the depths of the ice.bombird[1 Player Totally recommend]In the deep's of the world, a lost place is waiting for your arrival. This is for all of you. Enjoy it Use the L1 if you feel lost. MUSIC PEOPLE:_0165_Vivaldi-NL, Kingrtrocket, Velvet--Audio.[ If you find a bug please report ]
Bombird has created an atmospheric level of stonking proportions – their use of lighting in the level is absolutely drool-worthy, and the calming, lulling sound effects mixed with the relaxing soundtrack is probably all you need on a Sunday evening to chill out. Take your time on your way through this one, and enjoy the view!Art on a grand scale. Bombird has pulled off another visually spectacular level with some simply stunning set pieces which will take your breath away. I happily wandered through these Ice Caves filled with wonderful contraptions, revolving and spinning gracefully into place, taking me on from one glorious light-filled cavern to the next. It really does feel like a lost realm, a beautiful, eerie one full of atmosphere and echoing with such lovely sounds. And the lighting is just gorgeous, at times it almost seems as if Bombird is painting with light. A magnificent level which will soothe and charm your senses.

http://i0.lbp.me/img/bl/b106821188f387481f79bcb8dcaf49b5c6c4c9f5.pngSmurfy 's Hidden Objects (Road Trip Edition)Greensmurfy3rd edition in my hidden objects series that is based off of Biggischnupsi's wonderful games. Take a cross country trip across North America to see beautiful landmarks. Thanks to the musicians CuriousSack, Missi_Cat and SoundIsMe. Jonarrthan has been excellent in testing my level and giving feedback.
Get ready to squint at the screen until your eyes cross, it’s time for a spot the object level! Now, I’m going to be straight here and say that I don’t often go in for these sorts of levels, but Smurfy has made such a stunning piece of work with their sticker art that it’s hard to not want to feature it! Starting with an incredibly stylish main menu, you jet around multiple locations, challenging yourself to… well, find the objects! Some of the areas mix things up a bit too, by making you find them in a certain order, or not giving you a visual reference, so you really start searching every square pixel! Great fun!Just when you thought you’d seen it all as far as hidden object levels were concerned, Greensmurfy comes along with this masterpiece to prove you wrong. Because this is no ordinary hidden objects level. For starters, the sticker artwork is great. There are so many stunning cityscapes and landscapes - interactive ones too! – that it really is a pleasure scanning every inch for the cunningly hidden stickers. Then the creator introduces some neat twists into the concept (the verbal instead of visual clues one was surprisingly tricky at times!) and throws in some minigames as a bonus too. The attention to detail is palpable and shines through from the beautiful sticker pictures themselves to the awesome menu. A labour of love and a treat to play.

http://i8.lbp.me/img/bl/fc8714b626e989c87f7e5fb37e992e3478f916c6.pngTemple of Water PressureUtopicDreamer- Simple platformer based on water physic, not DLC logic or powerups used. (1 PLAYER HIGHLY RECOMENDED). Music: "Solace" by @Missi_Cat and "TOWP" by @OphidianCube, Thanks for this amazing music. --Big thanks goes to @Alley_Cat_8633, this level would not be possible without him. Special thanks to @StrawberryHeAt for all the suggestions, @adtk, @theevilpenguins, @Z1091990 and all my friends who tested the level and all the support received. Update Ver 1.10
You know what I’ve always wanted? I’ve always been looking for an LBP level where I’m thrown around by massive gushes of jet-propelled water, through a colourful, cavernous temple, and then! And then… To see some really cool mechanisms that really feel like they’re being powered by water… To be honest, no, I never thought that. But whilst playing Utopicdreamer’s level, I finally realised that I just never knew that I’ve always wanted to see it. This is an absolutely amazing experience, but by far my favourite moments were taking a ride on the jet-water-slides, and squealing at the top of my lungs. Because, at the end of the day, my sackgirl is pretty excitable at best. Short story: You have to play this level.Midway upon the journey of my sacklife, I found myself within a forest dark, for the straightforward pathway had been lost. And then I found this level. After spending half a minute inside this creation I couldn't help but thinking... Whoa! And that sums my entire experience up pretty well. In an era where finding an original level is every day harder, this one stands out from the rest. Why is that? Because instead of falling to the usage of classic logic, rotators and pistons; UtopicDreamer has used LBP physics to their best, powering all sorts of amazing contraptions using the power of water! And not the realz-waterz we originally got from the Pirates of the Caribbean DLC, but from the drop we had always had available in our popits! Again, this level runs so smoothly while succeeding in its awesome design, I'd wish I could forget its existance so I could experience it all over again. So, if you haven't played it... Do you need me to come over and press that queue button for you?!Arggh, I won’t keep you, I promise, but I just needed to add a couple of words to the existing two reviews. I really loved this level. It’s just really refreshing to see someone playing around so beautifully with the raw physics of LBP. It’s a gorgeous level – those caverns were so wonderfully decorated – I loved the bird motifs and the general understated beauty of the thing (sorry really need to look into using a Thesaurus one day xD). The gameplay was cleverly designed, fun and intriguing and I am so anguished right now that I still haven’t found 2 of the secrets (seriously, lol!). I’m so glad UtopicDreamer has come back to LBP and do hope he keeps dreaming his dreams.

http://if.lbp.me/img/bl/5bfbf665a81f9ffb9374a0cc6a4f1ace8e5716d8.pngStatik 's Stuff!radio_statikAh at last, what an achievement mun! Pythagoras had his triangles, Newton was constantly bullied by apples, and now Statik has his Stuff! Left Stick - Navigate, X - select, [ ] - Claim music, O - go back. To end the level, hold O button for 5 seconds.
Don’t give me no static - you’ll go Gaga over the Rhapsody of Flashy menus, and pulsing tunes.
Such nice animations on the menus, subtle like a silent B in the word subtly the reeds sway to the rhythm, barrels go boom to the beat, and er… hair… um… swishes(?) to the sounds…
Yeah; that kind of works. Doesn’t work as well as the menu design, but then I don’t think much would!
And it the words of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Give it away-give it away- give it away now! Makes it a spectacular level for you to load. What I enjoy the most of LBP creations in general is when I come across a level that attempts something different, creative and truly unique, exploiting the game's engine or simply being ingenious to achieve spectacular results within the game's tools. And when I visited this hub, my mind was totally blown. Like, seriously. I am posting a "Missing" sign later for my jaw as well... As a long time hub creator, I felt overwhelmed by the perfection of this music gallery. Now listen to me, my young sackthings. I'm speaking like this of a... Gallery. It is not a platformer, nor a puzzler or a minigame. This level of awesomeness was actually achieved by something as "simple" as a music gallery! The music was amazing and every track was unique; the level's animations were so fluid I admit I just messed with the menus to see them again and again... I couldn't expect less from the team picked guy who brought us Streets of Newport! Just queue it already and see it by yourself!

http://i2.lbp.me/img/bl/122c39dc0d4ad777fd530c78cfbf8076ca06c521.pngHigh-Rise Hotel!knowntokillFinally Sackboy gets a break and can relax in this five star hotel! Or so he thinks.... Jump, Shoot and Use Elevators to make your way through this luxurious hotel! [1-4 Players] [1 Player Recommended] [Difficulty: Easy]
Ding! Next floor: Paintgun arena. Knowntokill has taken a hotel, a sledgehammer, and a goody bag full of LBP fun and created a really unique platformer. Traverse this fancy lodge with a paintgun in hand, some shiny, newly painted walls to climb, and more elevators than the Empire State Building! I could really see a benefit to having a speed run in this level – The whole way through I was grinding my teeth, trying to keep my jumps and shots as smooth and simple as possible. Nevertheless, I still ended up covered in paint stickers – but I had a huge grin on my face too!Unfortunately my PS3 took it's toll, but I found a video of this level and it made want to write a review for it! A classic and entertaining stay awaits you with busy elevators and not illegal paint guns that will have you taking action all around rather just sitting in your hotel bed watching TV or using the interwebs. Speaking of internet, I wonder if this hotel has free wi-fi? It must have since its 1-4 players! Enrich across a wall jumping hotel area, filled with red and gold design and you can easily tell this is better than a 5-Star resort any day.

http://i6.lbp.me/img/bl/4b698c621e7a3f00c1acfff72fcd7a1cde2bf7ed.pngParabo lic 2: InvertedAratiatiaNavigate with L stick and jump with X. When acquired, activate the special action with R1. The rest is up to you. Reset by holding all shoulder buttons (available from second checkpoint onwards). Engage your brain and your reflexes because checkpoints are few and far between. Many thanks to Schlogg_Of_Foam for his patience and support
A hefty dose of sci fi awesomesauce awaits in Parabolic 2: Inverted. As the title suggests, you are going to be dealing with ceiling-flipping, floor-reversing, gut-churning inversion in this level, and timing is key. This level kicked my booty back to humbleville, and I was laughing and grinning the entire time. Awesome fun!The average LBP player has become reluctant to playing challenging platformers. Shame on you. Because you would miss this gem! Team picked creator Aratiatia brings us a level where we control a bizarre yet lovely sphere-cyclops-thingie, while travelling inside a huge facility, manipulating gravity to overcome various puzzles and platforms. This level is proof that not every good level needs to be visual based; not that this level looks bad, of course not, but the simplistic visual design is just perfect for the whole theme of the level. Beware, you will die, and you will die a lot, and the checkpoints are far apart from each other. And you will have to think really hard from time to time. But this is the kind of level you can't rage quit, because it doesn't feel unfair. It is just challenging. So if you are in a mood for a good old hard-level, you will have a blast playing this one!I’m not sure that someone who managed to finish this level with the glorious total of 0 points is worthy to review it but I just wanted to join in and say what a great level it is. I may have been well and truly owned but the difficulty was never unfair and I always knew that if I just tried hard enough and could get my reflexes to work fast enough just one time in twenty, I could get through the obstacles. It’s an awesome piece of level design; brilliantly clever, original, inventive…I could go on and on. It also manages to tread that fine line between challenging and frustrating and considering that I’m the kind of player who would usually rather turn herself or her controller upside down than play inverted gameplay the “proper” way, that’s saying something. A truly awesome piece of work…whichever way you look at it

http://i4.api.vita.lbp.me/img/bl/234207e39559c934520ce5da4ac56bfe1df4c7ca.pngWishes - realm of the shadowscarybiscuitThe shadows have taken scarybiscuit, make your way through the shadow realm. In this eye candy level. Testing by smartysloan.

Just when you thought you saw all that has to come when you witness a silhouette level, they keep on coming back even better than ever thanks to the talent and bloom of the community! As you enter the shadow realm, it is not as scary as you think it is because it is not filled with black and oozing darkness. It's beautiful with a very nice mix of bright colors that makes the world flourish as you, a cat-like creature go and find scarybiscuit. Climb on ledges to reach platforms and move around and escalate on leader to overcome the high peaks and get ready to be "wowed" in this wonderful experience. What do you get from mixing the concepts "Eye candy", plus "Awesomeness" and a spoonful of "Great Platforming"? Nothing less than pretty much every scarybiscuit piece of work! Because lately that name is almost a synonym for excellence in LBPV. Wishes - Realm of the Shadow will set us in a journey to rescue... Well... Scarybiscuit himself! In a jaw-dropping slow paced adventure, through a spooky level that uses the silhouette concept to its best, scary brings us one of his most polished and detailed levels yet. 'Nuff said.

http://i4.api.vita.lbp.me/img/bl/484bcfdfa921a8faf8cf8ddd8d43a09c1bba035a.pngLittle big ninja 3D adventure.scarybiscuitThe zombie hordes have taken over little Ninja's kingdom. Travel across the land using your ninja skills in this epic 3D adventure. Thanks goes to smartysloan for the testing.

MINI MINI MINI NINJAS! Yes, that game that I have played a demo of multiple times but never the full version. Mini ninjas rule, and these mini ninjas mark one of the best LittleBigPlanet Vita levels I have played this year. Get ready to enter a 3D world at a varied-paced journey as a ninja and his word fighting off zombies! In an awesome 3D environment get ready to slash, heal and blow up walls as you fight mean green zombies in multiple and well-detailed scenes that show awesome potential of decorations used in a third-dimension perspective. Off you go as a mini ninja, packed with action full of epicness. Oh my god! How is this even possible in Vita, that is a question I don't know the answer for. Have you ever felt your inner samurai call you to face the inminent zombie apocalypse? Probably not, but well, neither had I until I played this piece of awesomesauce-ness. Forged in that mystic land, full of creativity and a zombie-faced creator with a natural ability to create, that some people call Scarybiscuit's Moon; this level is a... *Drums please* 3D platformer! Well, it focuses more on combat and versatile ninja mad-skillz but it is equally mind blowing. The truly exciting thing is how perfect the overall experience feels. It doesn't feel forced at any time. How did scary achieved this I don't know, but what I do know is that the queue button is waiting.

Pinball Wizsack
scorpio1357
Be the ball! Beware of the bumpers, hit them and points are taken away. Don't worry though, there's plenty to collect!
Ever since I was a young girl I've played the silver ball. From The Savannah down to The Wilderness, I must have played them all. But I ain't seen nothing like scorpio's in my time here in this hall, That dedicated karting kid sure makes a mean pin ball. *Cough* Sorry, I seem to have been channeling something there. Anyhow, many of you have been eagerly awaiting scorpio's new track and watching his progress on the forums - your wait is over, and it was worth it! Hop over and bounce around this awesome pinball track with a song in your heart!
Scorpio's creativity is like watching The Neverending Story, everytime he publishes something, it is something fresh, unique and original. This time around we are spotlighting an amazing track where you'll have to get your pinball skills rolling, because the point here will be to get as many points as possible, but with a small twist: Avoid the bumpers, because they will take points from you! If you get to play this track with friends, fun is guaranteed! And be sure to check on the alternate paths in order to acend in the scoreboard, because there are an amazing amounts of combinations for getting to the track's goal in every lap!

The Village
XdsmmatX
1 Player. Since many years, you travel a lot and now you want to stop. You find a nice village and you want to stay and find a house. But you must be nice with the villagers.
Now THIS is the sort of stuff I'd love to see more of in Karting. Sure, it's not a karting level, but I really feel that the full potential of this creation tool is being squandered - there are so many opportunities for 3D exploration levels, mazes, heck, why haven't we seen more Quake remakes? Sigh. Either way, XdsmmatX has made an incredibly detailed, time-sensitive environment, where you need to hunt around the village to please its inhabitants. The Inn even has an opening time. Guys, I'm super-cereal. You need to go play this, just to see what sort of levels we could be experiencing here. I don't want to talk too much about the level's content, as the fun lies in exploring for yourself, but I could rave about how inventive and meticulous this thing is. It makes me want to hop into Karting create mode - something I haven't done once yet!
Its levels like these that make me giddy and reminds me how awesome Karting is! XdsmmatX has really pulled out all the stops with this one. It's all in first person 3D, which is awesome in itself! The level is also well designed and the controls have a slick movement. Even the characters in the level were made incredibly well. The objective is pretty simple: Find the way to your new House somewhere in the village. Last advice from me, have fun!
I've always said Karting has a great potential, and for the creators who dare to exploit this game's 3D level editor, profit awaits. The Village is a slow-paced adventure different to everything you've seen before in the game. The detail present in every house, every character, the wonderfully crafted hub and basically everything inside this level is astonishing, and really makes this little village one full of charm. You won't see explosions this time around, but I definitely recommend checking out this little gem!

Yes, it is the one with an awesome voice acting made by a PC program and a professor!
I though my levels did not deserved being spotlighes or even getting a nod! Happy to see I was wrong

Thank you!

Wow thank you very much It really is amazing to see my game up there. I started the level over a year ago. Then there was a time when I hit a wall and didn't want to work on it for 5 months. For whatever reason, the switch flipped back on and I got motivated again to finish it. I've played a lot of these spotlighted levels already, so I know they are amazing. It's a honor to be beside them.2014-07-21 23:19:00
