Editing HUD, like in Karting but better

I was recently thinking about how some of the levels I've played have something that's basically supposed to resemble a HUD. I thought about how hard this could be, but then I remembered how you could edit the HUD in LBPK.
Wouldn't that be a nice little feature? Lets us have super cool stuff like health bars and mana bars. Maybe even give us the ability to edit the HUD, i.e. getting rid of score bubbles to create your own currency system.

I would love this feature simply because creating a HUD that follows a character really limits camera angle possibilities. I mean one camera angle for an entire level can get quite boring. Plus disabling/enabling HUD at will easily would be a Godsend.2014-07-22 06:44:00

I hope there are some features in the game which allow us to do so. My current level in creation has the annoyance of showing the score bubble GUI when in the main menu of the level, it then overlays the menu so I now have had to re-structure the layout around the bubble so it looks appealing. The actual layout, top left would contain the score bubble but unfortunately it seems in-game screenshots don't capture the GUI/HUD.

I'd like to disable the GUI or HUD at any given time in the level I desire, temporary, permanent, doesn't bother me as long as I can edit it to make it go away. Honestly the best thing LBPK brought to the franchise was enabling creators the ability to edit the GUI/HUD, besides that a failure.

I really like this idea! However, there is pretty much no hud becides the scores and in race levels, the timer, so it's not that useful....2014-07-25 16:43:00

Now this is an idea I really appreciate!

It would be great to reposition the score, remove it altogether and create a new HUD. I would love to be able to turn HUD elements on and off, move them around and use stickers and decorations in this area, really make lbp my own game.

I used this feature in LBPK but it was a bit glitchy, would work sometimes then randomly not work for no clear reason.

A must have feature in LBP3!

I hope you can plaster objects like a timer, or a number display to your screen, so you can make your own custom huds

and make it duplicate the UI for more players so like if you want you can make your own currency display in the UI, or your own custom health bars into the screen

Yea this is the first thing I wanted from the next entry. I spent so much time creating custom HUDs in LBP2 and even those cant keep up with the action. I'd like to maintain the hud while offering different camera angles and setting up more cinematic moments. It would also be less strain on the thermometer.2014-08-01 05:20:00

The only problem with this would be local play. I think it should be incorporated but I don't know how to get around the same-screen issue.
