International Costumes

In the story mode, we've gotten costumes that reflect the fashions on the area of Earth that the levels are based off of. But what about the symbols of those countries? For example, the U.S. could have the statue of Liberty, and other countries... well, I'm not incredibly familiar with other countries, and wouldn't want to sound stereotypical ![]() What do you guys think? | 2009-02-19 12:23:00 Author: Sackdragon ![]() Posts: 427 |
Aren't there already "American Trousers" in the game or something? Anyways, awesome idea. The statue of liberty costume would be sweet. | 2009-02-20 00:47:00 Author: Sack-Jake ![]() Posts: 1153 |
ideas for england: Big Ben a Monarch( the queen ) Or a royal guard with a funny hat http://www.alovelyworld.com/webgb/gimage/gb21.jpg | 2009-02-20 01:27:00 Author: Zommy ![]() Posts: 1232 |
ideas for england: Big Ben a Monarch( the queen ) Or a royal guard with a funny hat http://www.alovelyworld.com/webgb/gimage/gb21.jpg The Royal Guard is a great idea... I suppose we Canadians could use it too since we use those uniforms on Parliament Hill for the Changing Of The Guard Ceremonies. Other than that, we'd be looking at a big red leaf costume (which would actually be pretty funny if it was done right), a beaver (which would be boring and not likely turn out well considering how awful the groundhog costume looks), or possibly an RCMP dress uniform (that's a Mountie for all you "foreigners"). ![]() | 2009-02-20 05:46:00 Author: Rustbukkit ![]() Posts: 1737 |
ideas for england: Big Ben Dressing an giant bell would be lame. Dressing as the clock tower would be better. a Monarch( the queen ) Henry VIII would be better and more likely, as his face has already appeared as a sticker in the game. Or a royal guard with a funny hat That "funny hat" is called a Bearskin. | 2009-02-20 10:26:00 Author: Winston-Smith ![]() Posts: 81 |
That "funny hat" is called a Bearskin. Anyone care to guess why? LoL. From what I understand they aren't too comfortable and they are sickly hot too... we've had a few of our CF pass out on extremely hot summer days because of those things. | 2009-02-20 10:40:00 Author: Rustbukkit ![]() Posts: 1737 |
I'm sorry but extremely hot and Ottawa is an oxymoron. ![]() Oh and for Australia I guess it will have to be either http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/89/Kangaroo_and_joey05.jpg/400px-Kangaroo_and_joey05.jpg Or http://www.stanford.edu/~jay/koalas/Koala450j.jpg | 2009-02-20 11:09:00 Author: QuozL ![]() Posts: 921 |

I'm sorry but extremely hot and Ottawa is an oxymoron. ![]() [/IMG] *GASP* Are you making fun of us!?!? ![]() Hey, it may not be Australia hot, but we get some pretty disgustingly hot days here for sure. You get up in the 30 degrees area and add our humidity on top of that.... it's flat out gross! lol It's weird here - sticky hot summers and bitterly cold winters. | 2009-02-20 11:26:00 Author: Rustbukkit ![]() Posts: 1737 |
Oh and for Australia I guess it will have to be either Isn't there already a cork hat in LBP? I'd much rather have more human stuff, dressing as animals gets a bit boring. For the Aussie pack I'd like to see a Steve Irwin costume (with optional string-ray attachment) and some tins of VB for LittleBigSteve to hold. =P | 2009-02-20 12:26:00 Author: Winston-Smith ![]() Posts: 81 |
Oh no, I really wouldn't wanna dress up like a windmill in wooden shoes holding a tulip and a joint... My countries stereotypes suck... | 2009-02-20 13:59:00 Author: Wyth ![]() Posts: 263 |
I've already made up my leprachaun costume so I'm happy![]() | 2009-02-20 14:10:00 Author: wexfordian ![]() Posts: 1904 |

That "funny hat" is called a Bearskin. ok so first off i meant as dress as the tower of big ben... i said the queen as a exsample to people who dont know what a monarch is and also if i said a bearskin to a bunch of say ... 10 year olds would they have any idea what it is? oh and about the steve irwin with optional sting ray attachment... dude thats really disrespectful... | 2009-02-20 14:44:00 Author: Zommy ![]() Posts: 1232 |
Scotland would obviously be some dude in a Kilt with bagpipes and a dead haggis in his hand -_- Yay stereotypes. | 2009-02-20 21:52:00 Author: Pinchanzee ![]() Posts: 805 |

...Steve Irwin was my hero. He was a cool guy, maybe that remark was beyond the line. At least we can all take solace in the fact he died the way he lived..... with animals in his heart. | 2009-02-21 01:38:00 Author: Winston-Smith ![]() Posts: 81 |

I'm sure if Steve was with us now, he'd laugh just as hard as I did. I'd love to see a Little Viking-Sack costume, representing Iceland. | 2009-02-22 10:14:00 Author: Morrinn3 ![]() Posts: 493 |
