In the early trailers it was an actual item for sticking things together, now it's done by pushing 2 items together and holding x.2009-02-19 09:56:00

Put the thin layer infront of/behind the thick and use the layer change button to push it forward/back because the other layer is in the way it will not be able to change layers and will cause a the thick layer to be highlighted hold x when this happens to stick them together.2009-02-19 10:56:00

You'll notice too that the layer(s) or adjacent structures your object is to be glued to will be highlighted in green before & while gluing.

Pushing the analog stick in the direction of your "glue to" target (or if trying to glue layers together, by using the L1 and L2 buttons) is really essential to mastering the glue function and getting your level to work properly, especially when trying to glue down moving objects.

About your PS3 resetting, it's not quite normal.

I know there was a bug about that and I don't remember if it was fixed. How do you quit the game anyways? By the controller menu or by the XMB?

If you quit by the XMB it shouldn't reset...
