Hello everyone. I have a question regarding LBP3, in case someone knows. Can I import the save data from the previous LBP games into the 3rd one? Because if I can, it would force me to get the game for PS3 instead of PS4(unless of course the PS3 and PS4 saves are compatible. Sorry I don't have a PS4 yet so I don't know). Then again it might be too early to ask this question but just making sure in case someone happens to know. Thanks in advance.

I have been searching regularly for this info. I have not found it. In a perfect world we will be able to import our ps3 data to lbp 3 on ps4. Fingers crossed.

It has been said and made as a point that LBP3 is backwards compatible with the last 2 games which is why LBP3 is limited to the same thermometer limits ETC. So profile porting is a highly likely thing that will happen, There maybe will be a-way you can transfer profile data over to the PS4 version too but hard to say how that'll work. Anyways nothing to overly clear has been said yet. *mew

Probably for PS4 version you use PS Plus online storage to import, and PS3 same as how lbp1 to lbp2

But I think many people will be getting PS+ if it's required for online play in LBP3. Then again because of the PS3 version too maybe it won't be PS+ required. Well hopefully we can just use the USB to make it easier.

I think they'll try to reuse the existing profile export code to save work if they can, so it's very likely the USB method will work.

They're using the same servers so I think it would be safe to assume you could transfer your profile to PS4. (There's also the PS+ cloud saving)

Well there are many ways to get your profile through so there shouldn't be any worry that you can't at all. I'm sure they'll eventually tell us which ways we should use.

many people will be getting PS+ if it's required for online play in LBP3. Then again because of the PS3 version too maybe it won't be PS+ required. And that's why I'm not buying PS4. - - - - - - - - - - I don't have a PS4 yet so I don't know Just stick with PS3
