FROM THE LEVEL SHOWCASE:

http://id.lbp.me/img/bl/03d7afc349599e3337afd48e6e2e474bd2f51281.pngTRINGO (The Bingo & Tetris Hybrid) [1-3 players] [puzzle] v1.4ForcesWerwolfI created this little versus puzzle game for 1-3 players directly inspired from my Second Life memories. A tutorial is inside. Copyright belongs of course to the original creator, builder and developer on Second Life (Nathan Keir). If you like the game than check it out in SL or try the free to play flash versions online. Thank you and have fun! PS: Planned for future updates: time skip, new menu, more options and more...
If you and your buddies need a little break from high-octane grappling and bouncing, you may be inclined to hunt down a puzzle level. In that case, I can highly recommend you check TRINGO out. A strange hybrid between Tetris and Bingo, this game (which originated on Second Life) is a wonderful way to exercise your logic muscles. The card on the left shows you all the available pieces, and you have to place them in such a way that you don’t block yourself on your board – something that caused my husband and I to reveal our competitive sides (I kicked his booty). Where it lacks in the immediacy of a race, it excels in encouraging you to take your time and plot your movements – not too long though, as that timer is forever ticking! This is a cool and relaxing puzzle game…well, I say relaxing but it can get pretty competitive played with friends! The idea, as Ria says, is to build up blocks of squares from the different Tetris like shapes and patterns of squares which are presented to you each round. At first it all seems very gentle-paced but then you suddenly find a piece which won’t seem to fit anywhere on your screen and you spend a tense few seconds trying to squeeze it in as the clock ticks relentlessly away. The original game concept by Second Life is a cool one and ForcesWerwolf has done a great job of bringing it to LBP. The slower pace puts the emphasis on strategy not on reflexes…which only makes the fact that I did better when I played it for the first time and had no clue what I was doing all the more embarrassing xD

http://i1.lbp.me/img/bl/4c1c741e216e56ca8a5c1b420f88e27a1974a438.pngShelte r [PUZZLER] [1P]zecros4[SET BRIGHTNESS (GAMMA) TO FULL] [1P] Shelter ~Noun~ A place of safety or immunity, a shielded condition. Escape the harsh reality of common life, sit down, relax and enjoy the audio-visual and brain bending wonder that is Shelter. Race mode will be unlocked once you complete the level. Try and set the highscore!
Shelter is a stunning piece of work, where you spawn your own little clone buddy to help you traverse the many puzzles spread throughout. True to its name, there is a real sense of peace and calm here, whilst you sit taking in the atmosphere, scratching your head to work out the next solution. The mechanics involved with using your clone follow this idea of single player co-op, which I absolutely love, and I’m starting to see in far more games, such as Entwined and Brothers. Now, if only I can figure out a way to make a real clone to do my work for me whilst I prep for LBP3….More supposedly relaxing (!) puzzling goodness! Nah, I'm kidding. I have always enjoyed levels that make you think and Zecros4 has a real talent for coming up with clever, mind bending puzzles. Lost in a maze of beautifully crafted cardboard rooms, you can only get out by cloning yourself at strategic points, letting your cool looking other half hold down buttons and bounce up to sensors for you. It’s both intuitive and challenging at the same time and I had a lot of fun exploring and popping small clones left, right and centre. (Good job there’s no penalty for the number of times you re-spawn a clone to get through a puzzle lol…and let’s hope that hasn’t given Zecros4 any ideas for his next puzzle platformer!) The setting is gorgeous too – I really like the understated, spare elegance of the design. This one has a wintery feel to it. You really feel like you’re somewhere safe, sheltered from the clouds, rain and snowflakes of the outside world. Just lovely! Drop into a wonderful puzzler with an atmosphere true to its own. You'll be using your noggin as you platformer room by room trying to over come obstacles and turning on electricity to reach the next room through the worm hole. While challenging, it is also really fun, the neat green ambiance give the design its own signature and everything is well polished. Time your moves right and make the right calls, and you'll be ramping through the shelter having a great time.

http://i4.lbp.me/img/bl/694f2ef8fcb4059eb4e51f6456fcdadb47da8a8a.pngComple x Corps.acdramonTraverse through an unknown enviroment and uncover who is behind all of the contraptions in this factory. A special thanks to Bagheadinc for some level ideas an logic help (He is rad!)
Welcome Sackthing and welcome to oblivion or how I see it, existence. The machine is the existence and it is here to teach you a lesson? Overall this is a sleek platformer with a story that very much keeps you intrigued from beginning to the end. The physical adding of the dialogue instead of using magic mouths extremely draws out the emotion or intent of the Machine. So all you sackfolk out there, if your looking for a crazy story vs. substance explosion of a level, this is your next stop!!Whilst you’re winding your way around deadly stompers and fiendish traps, you might be forgiven for wondering – who the heck is that talking to me? And why are they so mean? You’ll start to feel triumph as you fly in the face of adversity, proving your worth to the disembodied judge who monitors your every movement. Smash, Crash, Slice, Dice. It takes great pleasure in describing your hurdles as you wend your way around them. Take that, evil machine guy, I reached the finish line with a massive grin on my face. An awesome level by acdramon. Not sure if I am being controlled, being persuaded to be controlled, or if I am controlling anything! I guess that's that complexity in this intriguing platformer (sort of) that will get you thinking. While there are some nice gameplay elements with spinning saws and time-able bounces with the bounce pads, there is one element that stood out and be sure to give your mind a whirl. There is a narrative element where words and words will pop up when you play trying to connect with your mind as you are being monitored. Whether what emotion to feel is beyond me, but hey : Smash, Crash, Slice, Dice.

http://ib.lbp.me/img/bl/54b906b97b202c897ba46ee3a64ea745a6f943b8.pngGame of Stones [Platformer]se-mi921 Player recommended ; [[Difficulty: Medium - Hard]] ; Contains Memorizer to SAVE your progress ; Find all Secrets to unlock the RACE mode ; Music by soundisme, xTrilexx & G-Gilgamesh-G and Buddydestruction. ; Many thanks to actio1_618 for logic-support ; I hope you enjoy!
Hot, hot, hot.... Better bring an extra pack of cotton stuffing for this cottong singe-ing level. Semi what can I say this amazing. Puts hands around head and does the whole mind blown expression. There isn't a single thing I could focus on in this level, cause I feel it would be an injustice to the other 35 things that I could also focus on. The visuals, the platforming, the contraptions, the flow, the.... Mind Blown. Semi keeps time and time again showing us why he is one of LBP's top platform makers. A stunning level in every way. From the very start when the temple doors swing open to the imposing scoreboard mechanics at the end, this level just has so many “wow” moments that you lose count. And I do mean moments when you just stop playing and go “wow”. I don’t want to spoil it for those who haven’t played it yet but the lava, the stone statues and the jets of flame all had me catching my breath. As did the gameplay…but possibly for different reasons as this is no pushover to play. It’s brilliantly designed but those obstacles will certainly test your skills. The level looks amazing too, the deft use of colour and decorations making it anything but yet another DC pack temple level. The whole thing is then topped off with some great music and clever memoriser stuff (that’s the technical term ). I always used to consider Stardust was se-mi’s best level but this one surpasses it, I think, and I say that despite the number of times I got toasted, singed and indeed burnt to a crisp on my way to the scoreboard.

http://i0.lbp.me/img/bl/c30e271c80a6d90d4fdf19c5afcfd57632c64f94.pngThe Temple of Monk?h MadmanacdramonAs you get swallowed into the depths of a temple, crazy stone monkeys try to force you to do their laundry! Fight your way through this temple before you have to clean underwear for an enternity. | This was a co created level by Moleynator and I. We hope you enjoy it!

Whoa!! (still copyrighted, but currently being leased) AcDramon landing the double-double in the spotlight, an achievement not easily achieved which means 2 things. Double the pleasure and double the fun. This go around is a temple running platformathon filled with great contraptions that are well timed that will have you running, swinging, and jumping in a rhythmically timed musically infused fashion. Also, wink wink there are hidden bubbles in the most un thinkable spots so keep a keen cheetah eye out for em.Aohw! (New word. It’s totally gonna be a thing. Trust me on this.) Double trouble for Acdramon, this time in league with the Moleynator, bringing us a fantastic jungle temple-themed platformer. The obstacles are fun and the characters are whacky, and whilst I wore a goofy grin the whole time, I also loved seeing how this dynamic duo used the landscape to their advantage, squirreling little bonus points here and there for you to hunt down. Watch out Monkeh! I’m coming for my PG Tips!I wonder if people ever had the fear that primates will take over humanity like in the movie Planet of The Apes. Well, in you go into a temple of a mad monkey, Monkeh trying to trap you in the convoluted space filled with neat stone designs and a whole lot of lava. Enjoy wall jumping and bouncing through this mad man's temple trying to find your way out while the heart-pumping music plays and makes the whole experience more intense!

From time to time you encounter levels that stand out from the crowd in every possible aspect. They are graphically perfect. They have smart and exceptional gameplay. I'm glad to say I have found one of them in this little gem. And it is the little details that really make this one different, like the neat voice acting, with funny dialogues which Valve would be proud of, or the smart use the creator chooses to give to the touch functionlity. It may be tough at times, but even if puzzle levels are not your strong point, give this one a go; you won't be disappointed. You may even discover if the cake was actually a lie or not.I figured out I'm apparently not good at puzzles.. However, I loved the level with all my heart. Froominator has pulled out all the stops on this one. The Voice Acting was simply amazing and funny altogether, simply awesome! Of course what the level really focused on was the puzzles that it has to offer. Seriously, I spent forever trying to figure out the puzzle and knowing the next puzzle would be even harder, but I digress.. the level truly draws you in with its enticing scenery and design. This is a level you don't wanna miss! Portal is definitely what comes to mind for me when I play this level. Goodness, so many references as well as the whole Aperture logo brought back some really awesome memories. But the thing that got me the most was the presentation of this level. From the beginning where you have to check with the secretary and sign in your name to work from the fantastic voice acting feeling like you are partaking in a experiment had me enjoying this whole gig the most. Enjoy some really sweet puzzles as you "move things with your mind" and prepare for a well built treat.

http://i7.api.vita.lbp.me/img/bl/c279d865d11b5b1cc1123ab4302f5d2039248974.pngRegret smartysloanA visual platfomer in the style of old black and white sci fi movies. Thanks to scarybiscuit my mentor and best sak friend, wouldnt be possible without you!
Smartysloan is going the visual-platformer path, and she is succeeding quite spectacularly while doing so! After sackboy escapes death by dropping his phone to a river, he must begin a journey to save humanity from annihilation. Crazy as that sounds, this journey will be a very spectacular one, exploiting Vita's graphics, alongside some cool gameplay that the new wall jumping ability offers. With a strong Terminator-esque tone through it, smarty is setting the bar higher with every new level she publishes, you better keep her on the lookout!Do I regret playing this level? No, it was awesome! Who doesn't like end of the world scenarios? smartysloan has done a really good job here. I mean, who would've guessed that technology would be our ultimate downfall? With an awesome story and ending this level truly stands out from the rest. Did I mention that it's also in black and white? Well that's enough from me, you should go and play the level, you surely won't regret it.
A fantastic use of LittleBigPlanet Vita was used here, and that use was to pull of the potential of a meaning. Today, the world is faced with electronics that are over-takng our minds. From texting, to well typing on the internet to do reviews and such, and much more. We can easily overlook what will and will not be just because a glance at our screen can make our life-changing opportunity flash away before our very eyes. Regret mixes great scenery with epic gameplay revealing to us that we may have just creating something that can control us.

From the Showcase:

https://lbpk-production.s3.amazonaws.com/player_creations/1436186/preview_image_128x128.pngAntigravity Zonenikos-tsakalosHave you ever drive the head upside down? This is what happens when you reach the Antigravity Zone. Have fun. Thanks to xEnergiie-Drink and Zifrod for beta testing.
Recently, LBPCentral has ended their 12th contest called the Flip: Side. Just when I thought I judged enough entries revolving around the theme opposites, the after shock came and I'm really it glad it did. This race track will have you racing around in a station and will flip you upside down once you hit the Anti-gravitiy zone making the top the bottom and vise versa. On the top of that you race through space avoiding asteroids while gazing at other assets in view. Give this a play, as it will turn your mind around. I haven't picked Karting up for some time, and as soon as I'd got back in the driving seat and queued up my levels this week, Antigravity Zone was the first I played. I let out a series of 'whoop' noises as soon as the floor decided to do a 180 on me. I grit my teeth after jumping from a launch pad, watching asteroids floating threateningly ahead. Immediately, I found myself dodging chasms in the floor that laughed in the face of Health & Safety legislation. I had a blast, and you will too!

From Recommendations:

https://lbpk-production.s3.amazonaws.com/player_creations/1440034/preview_image_128x128.pngDoomsdayxEnergiie-DrinkHi and welcome in the dangerous kingdom of the death and of the destruction , to my last creation inspired by"Mortal Kombat",with the help of Dsmmat ,thank's for all and good luck....!! ^^
DOOOOOOOM. DOOOOOOOOOM. Has no one caught that Invader Zim reference? Well, either way, the danger zone in this track pretty much is everywhere! A challenge as you aim for the finish line, you'll be dodging obstacles whinging among you as destruction ensues in one terrific design of DOOOOOM! Inspired by Mortal Kombat, you'll enjoy volcanic boosts, meteors clashing downward from the sky above, custom weapons and the alert popping up when someone goes boom saying FATALITY! FINISH HIM. Or her. Either way, it's the end for you, as you zoom around a track that is eye-meltingly gorgeous. Don't get too distracted though, as the landscape changes with time, getting more and more deadly as you draw near the final lap. Between the apocalyptic meteors and explosive weapons, this track will have you growling with ill-disguised aggressive fury during the whole race. That’s the good kind of fury, ya know, the kind that you feel when you’re performing an x-ray assisted finishing move on your opponent. Well, that’s how it looked in my head at least - Flawless Victory!!

https://lbpk-production.s3.amazonaws.com/player_creations/141219/preview_image_128x128.pngTo Clive, With LoveBonezOliverClive Handforth is all but lost in our memories and our hearts. Please enjoy this Clive-centric track, and send him best wishes...wherever he is.
After I read the title, I thought to myself we were going to see one of LittleBigPlanet 2's alliance members in the world of Karting. I also thought it was going to be some romantic setting perhaps late at night in Paris. But instead, I got the first thought correct and wow I did not see why lied ahead! Clive steals the show as this track comes up with fabulous and creative experiences revolving around our favorite notepad. You'll be driving in tubes, activating switching and reasons to love Clive HandForth even more! This ode to Clive Handforth is an absolutely amazing experience – If you didn’t love Clive before now, this race may well be enough to sway you. Taking all the most zany and fun aspects of the dozy notepad’s levels in LBP2, BonezOliver sends us flying over an animated effigy of the stationary god, whipping through tubes and pipes, and even down into the treacherous belly of the factory itself. There is no shortage of scenery to gawk at and nostalgic nods to draw a smile – this is a fantastic experience, not to be missed!

https://lbpk-production.s3.amazonaws.com/player_creations/1449406/preview_image_128x128.pngPlum Kartin' VSXazarxCustom Description: Enjoy a battle amongst others where you score point for holding the ever so shining plum the longest.

Plums, something really tastey and neat to eat. Plums. Also big purplely objects that Rayman punches off a plant in order to use the plum as a means to travel on water. And now plums make an appearance once again and this time in the videogame, in the world of LittleBigPlanet Karting! Have a go in this beatifically scenic battle arena where you are equipped with grabinators with a task to grasp the ever-so shining plum. The longer you hold the iconic purple editable piece, the more points you get, so make sure no one hits you with their weapon or that plum will be up for grabs from anyone! Ooooh blimey Guv’nah! Ya grabbed me plums! Ahem. Sorry, really couldn’t resist. In Plum Kartin Vs, we find ourselves in a beautifully lit arena, scattered all about with as many weapons as you can imagine. In the centre lies a juicy purple plum. Your mission – grab that plum and hold on tight! As soon as you grab a hold of the juicy fruit, everyone in the arena will have their sights focused on you – and a single hit from a weapon will cause you to lose your precious horde. We don’t want that now, do we? Prepare yourself for utter chaos that will have you giggling uncontrollably.

https://lbpk-production.s3.amazonaws.com/player_creations/1448322/preview_image_128x128.pngElves EmpireXdsmmatXDo you believe that somewhere there is another world with some fantastic creatures. Oh, i want to tell you a secret, chuuuuut...... I found this wonderful world and it's here. Welcome in the elves empire and enjoy.
Is this some sort of palace? It's like Willie Wonka's chocolate factory except you can't eat it but it is so stunningly beautiful! Full of wonder and elegant set pieces, take a trip across the Elves Empire where secrets reveal something the eyes will not forget, especially in a race through what I would like to call a Wonderland! In elves Empire, you are gently introduced to the dusky atmosphere of a level crafted with great attention to detail. Elves hold launch pads high to assist you on your way, whilst other zoom alongside you on giant bees. Why bees? Who cares – as you get to ride them yourself too, causing no small amount of giggles and whoops from myself, I can assure you. A stunning piece of scenic racing, I fell in love with this level in an instant.

Thanks for the mention of Return to the Swamp (LBPV). The cameras are proving to be a real pain. They just don't work in play mode the same way that they work once published. Am afraid I'll be republishing without the fancy cameras. (Whats really weird is that some people are having NO problems, but others are having so many problems they can't even START the level. It seems to do something different each time the level is loaded.)2014-07-07 07:23:00
