In my opinion, this is something we definitely need above all else. Whenever I find a great level, the first thing I do is check out the creators planet, so it follows (and makes sense) that the site should reflect this in some way. It would have to be worked out on how many hearted levels they have, how popular their levels have been, how many visits their level has received, and so forth. They would have to have created at least three highly rated levels to appear on this leaderboard. Once you click on anyone on that leaderboard, it takes you directly the the creators planet instead of to any specific level. It would give people an incentive to be more creative, create more levels and also give them motivation to continue.

Kind of a cool idea, although the requirements for being on that leaderboard are arguably just as subjective as getting onto the cool pages were. Handpicking is unrealistic as the picks system is already doing that... I do like the idea in essence though, it's certainly another achievement for creators to aim for Haven't you people heard of #LBP3wishes I have, but not only is that hastag a twitter thing (not everyone from LBPC is on twitter) but there's a suggestions forum for a reason. Sometimes it's just nice to chat about ideas without an enforced character limit

I don't think well known creators should be awarded more, after all they already show up in peoples streams if hearted. Instead there needs to be more attention given to unknown but equally talented folks.

This idea would just make me mad because people like ************ who reall ddon't make very great levels would dominate it and the real creators who are the best of the best would get buried.

It's just that if your arguing with me your example picture isn't giving me much hope for why those levels, being both numerous and clones of another concept, should be cemented for all time on some super creator leaderboard. We need a system that highlights new expressions of originality so the community doesn't stagnate.
