I don't remember the part you are referring to, but I'm sure it's an illusion of some sort. Probably an emitter placed near the end of the tube.2014-07-07 00:15:00

One of the clever designers at Tarsier Studios did this using moving, green Water Projectiles to simulate the flowing liquid.

The green droplets are connected to a track running in the layer behind the tube, ensuring that the droplets never touch the tube-walls, and therefore do not break

An easy way would be, to unmaterialize the tubes with a sticker panel and the edging tool, then unvisible material to simulate the walls of the tubes and now, every material can fly through the tubes...

You could just put timed movers on the water. So it allows follows the exact path you want it is fiddly but there are multiply ways to do it2014-07-11 14:24:00

How did Sumo Digital/Tarsier Studios make it go through the tubes without it breaking? This is a simple task.. The material used was the Radioactive Hazzard material created using the glitched THACK material changed into the radioactive hazard material ( if you want to know more check out comphermc's Tutorials) Thack has the same thickness as sackboy so it can pass through the pipes. Using hologram material set to 0 brightness, Tags and Followers they were able to make it go through the pipes, as I was able to do using it. (Check out the pictures for examples ) and without the above mentioned pipe glitch ( Comphermc's tutorials cover all of this ) .2014-07-26 06:38:00

I really think this was just plain old water projectile pieces, no glitch or invisible trickery. I can't say exactly how they transitioned the movement from linear to rotational (moving in an arc) but t was very well done. When you touch a piece of the water it breaks apart EXACTLY like plain old water projectile pieces.

I imagine tags and movers are involved, with some impact sensor logic to activate a lethal effect when sackboy touches the water.

The simplest explanation is often the most likely, although the other ideas above would most likely achieve the same effect
