Emitting Sackbots into foreground/background

Archive: 4 posts

Out of curiosity, I want to know if it's possible to emit Sackbots into foreground or background layers. I would test this out myself, but it would be at the risk of my LBP crashing & burning. Does anyone know or is willing to test this out? For science?2014-07-03 02:56:00

I've seen it done but I don't know how. The sackbot didn't walk properly in the foreground layers, it was weird looking.

It depends on what you are doing. I use sackbots in the foreground and background to help with depth. I use an pre-recorded motion. Without that, they might need an anti-gravity...so basically they cant move in these foreground/background layers.

I've placed Sackbots in the foreground/background without problems, but back up your profile just to be safe.
In the foreground, the sackbot's head sometimes goes transparent - this might only be if it's in a controllinator. I don't know why, it's just something I've seen happen. In the background, if you tell the Sackbot to Act it will try to come back into the normal layers. You can keep it in the background by placing some invisible material in the back thick layer (not the thin layer).
Like RPG Maker said, movement can be tricky, but it is possible
