Hi guys and gals, I built a couple of House/Home (RPG?) levels a few months ago and I'm happy with the reception they've got, so I'd like to share them with you! Yes, You! (Oh I bet you feel special). Before I go into details, I'll leave the links here, since everything I say will already be on the level description: Home, Sweet Home. (http://lbp.me/v/qqygdsj) Lakeside Mansion (http://lbp.me/v/qq42vtr) First up on the real estate market: Home, Sweet Home. Need to retreat? This house has you covered. It's been specifically designed for detoxing. Actually, I'm not gonna try and sell it to you, I'll just give you the specifics. This house includes: - A master Bedroom with balcony - Two smaller bedrooms with bunk beds - Tree-House in front Garden (With Swings, Projector Screen and Ice-cream dispenser) - Back Garden with Hot Tub and Climbable Tree (requires some know-how to climb) - Dining Room, Kitchen, Living Room (with newspaper on one chair) - Rooftop Zen Garden - Rooftop Bar and sun-lounger (scale up waterfall) Player's Home (Lakeside Mansion) OK, where to start... erm... Now we're onto the real house: This generously-sized property is positioned on a private lake which you may fully enjoy, the lake is lined with sand for all your beach needs! - Large Master Bedroom with Balcony - Another Large Master Bedroom with Balcony - Living Room (With Stereo System) - PC/Library (With Apple Mac!) - Large Dining Room and Kitchen - Private Gym (complete with Weights and Treadmills) - Hot Tub on Balcony - Party Level Penthouse (Complete with Dance Floor, Bar and Air Hockey) - VIP Lounge* (Complete with Mac, Another Stereo System, working PS3 with video game AND a Private Elevator to penthouse) - Underground Swimming Pool (with Diving Board) - Underground Cinema Room (with working, albeit repetitive, cinema screen. Conjoint to pool room) Now for the external Amenities: - Independent Guest House (with TV, Bed, Dining Table and Kitchen) - Large, private, lake (with wooden walkway across and beach facilities) - Volleyball Court - Sun Loungers - Original Tiki-bar and Resteraunt? - Basketball Court - Rock Climbing (on an actual cliff face) Notes: * VIP Pass is obtainable by amounting 50 points, through a private message or by entering a cheat code on the Ground Floor Mac (See comment on the level for code) then check the ground floor staircase. These types of levels are always tricky to talk about, they are a great design exercise, and you sure have crammed a lot of high quality design in, but they are difficult to play or comment on, as their design is purely meant to become a wandering about looking at things level. Which is less fun to play then a normal level. Having said that you have accomplished some nice things here, especially with a sense of scale, keeping everything small, but still packed with detail. nothing felt too cramped either. Especially in the stair well. Those sections can become impossible to navigate in some of these types of levels. Your stairs work, and you don't expect the player to make a crazy jump to try and get back down either.
