Ratchet and Clank Collection VITA

I kinda want to share this kind of stuff to you guys. This port is created by mass media the same guys who ported Jak and Daxter to the vita. Knowing that they screwed up with the frame rates in J&D, they seem to do great with this. The frame rate seems to be smooth and it works well. Thanks to DividedX Gamer (Look him up on youtube for footage because I'm still using my phone because my laptop is dead) for show and telling us about this. This port does seem to fix a couple minor bugs from the ps3 version like the seller in gadgetron is normal size for example. The strafing seems to have 2 options. 1. Automatic strafing. This doesn't seem to work well and it's suppose to strafe when you see enemies. 2. Rear touch. This one would be recommended to use and seems to work well. There is no multiplayer at all. Not really a huge deal because of the problems on the ps3 made it not the best experience. This port does contain all 3 games in 1 cartridge unlike sly where you have 2 and download the 3rd game. Also what I've seen from dividedX is that the cut scenes look better quality than Sly's cut scenes. So this could probably be the best collection out there for vita and probably barely better than the ps3 version in a single player point of view. It's too soon to say that though but what we can tell is mass media seems to did a great job. I will be looking forward to this on my guess july 2nd on US. (Still no real confirmed date for US) EU I believe got it early at some places but it still stands for July 2nd. Also if some of you don't have a vita and want one I think there will be a bundle with the collection. I also heard that the collection has cross-buy so you don't have to pay for it again if you already have the ps3 version I believe. | 2014-06-29 01:45:00 Author: Sunbunny23 Posts: 995 |

I've played a little bit of it and it runs surprisingly well when you consider that it was ported my Mass Media, the same people who ruined Jak and Daxter when they ported it to Vita. It runs at a very stable 30fps but the audio in the cut scenes are ridiculously compressed and horrible sounding. | 2014-07-08 22:24:00 Author: Jovuto Posts: 2345 |

This is quite a well done port of the 3 games from my childhood, I had some issues with the input lag in R&C1 but I am getting used to that. However, I would have like to be a native port from the ps2 game and not a ps3 collection port. | 2014-07-25 13:22:00 Author: CodemanPSX Posts: 147 |
