You'll anger them! :meh: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlvA1GMBzW8 I think Dan Deacon would really suit LBP really well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ3flcWcwmI And this song would be perfect for LBP. Just listen to what the girl is saying. It really reminds me of LBP or something LBP related. | 2014-06-27 21:22:00 Author: Jovuto Posts: 2345 |

Just about any Ratatat would be good for me, this is just a random selection i chose because its in hd: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QETlofg23Jo I'd also be down with some El Ten Eleven: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1SMAihtAEA Some Parov Stelar would also be nice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xsoCki4pTk | 2014-06-28 02:59:00 Author: Deftmute Posts: 730 |

Being able to import our own music would be cool, but it probably wouldn't happen with the amount of copyright it could ensue. If that won't happen, maybe ask some other game developers if they could borrow their own music for custom packs? If not: More Go! Team music would be nice, I looked it up and liked this one, so why not? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSm6s--CYUQ (I don't really listen to much music that isn't in videogames, if I do, it's usually super slow for LBP's atmosphere, or about innapropriate themes) | 2014-06-28 19:50:00 Author: Tylerthedragon Posts: 34 |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNlA5Vhc4VE I think this would be a perfect song for a boss battle. It sounds a little bit intimidating but at the same time playful. Also it has that grand orchestral sound you'd expect from a boss battle. For anyone that doesn't know who Tyondai Braxton is, he used to be in a band called "Battles". Sound familiar? Battles was actually in the soundtrack for the first LittleBigPlanet. Their music plays on one of the city levels. It's that weird song with the high pitched vocals. | 2014-06-28 21:50:00 Author: Jovuto Posts: 2345 |
What I'd like (although highly doubtful) is If lbp3 had a built in MIDI converter so I don't have to spend 2 hours transcribing a song. For those who don't know, a midi file is a music file that is essentially like the lbp music sequencer in that you can open it in programs and edit the notes and instruments and such. If I could just record a track or important it into lbp2 and have it autoconverted into a music sequencer format it'd be so delightful. Although I really don't see that happening. | 2014-06-29 02:15:00 Author: Tynz21 Posts: 544 |

Haha, I didn't read that last bit, just played the song and immediately thought, this sounds like Battles. And also a MIDI converter would be nice, but yeah, still legal issues that Sony and Sumo probably wouldn't want to take their chances with, as I could find a MIDI version of plenty of songs online. | 2014-06-29 06:56:00 Author: slippi Posts: 34 |
neosignal's Raum und Zeit (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-b1YniXmLg). And no, i don't know what it means (although i'm assuming it has to do with time or something. Too bored to look it up). Came across it when i heard neosignal's Planet Online on the radio once, which was an awesome track, so i went on YouTube and pretty quickly found this song. It's instrumental, it's electronic, it has an epic vibe though it's quite calm and slow and it's definitely a more unknown song. I can definitely see this awesome track being used as a soundtrack in the game, although i don't know the story or anything yet, i'm SURE there's some levels that will fit perfectly with this piece. | 2014-06-29 15:25:00 Author: Woutery Posts: 793 |
I think one of Adrian von Ziegler's songs should be in the game. Here are a few that could fit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AC3hMTysNzs This one is a more upbeat electronic song. Probably best in a highly-technological planet that is very upbeat and happy.(This is assuming LBP3 is going to be like LBP2; Techno and about certain ages) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Gj7Fq42AE0 Bone Temple is a more mysterious song. I'd say this is best in the ruins of a ancient temple.(This is assuming LBP3 is going to be like LBP1; Not techno and more about lands) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pzYyP6nOHU This one would be the best song for the intro IMO. Sackboy starts off in a very upbeat place and gets all the way to the antagonist, which in this case is Newton. (Assuming like LBP1 again) (All are instrumental) (Any help on making this post smaller would be helpful) | 2014-06-29 20:09:00 Author: Thepowaofhax Posts: 11 |

Haha, I didn't read that last bit, just played the song and immediately thought, this sounds like Battles. I would argue that LBP needs more Battles. Songs like Africastle would work well in a LBP game if the weird intro and outro were cut. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4qDVyzMSmU Some BADBADNOTGOOD would be cool too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOqKQA7FqWE | 2014-06-30 22:04:00 Author: Jovuto Posts: 2345 |

This could be too dark for a LBP game, but would fit well into horror/mystery levels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmkAdJYyuwQ | 2014-07-01 02:40:00 Author: gdn001 Posts: 5891 |
This could be too dark for a LBP game, but would fit well into horror/mystery levels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmkAdJYyuwQ That is reeaaly dark, but I can see it being used... maybe. I don't know about you, but one of my favorite parts of the LBP franchise has always been the great licensed music available for use in one's levels. With LBP3 releasing four months from today, what is some music you'd like to see added in the game when they inevitably delay it? Please post a link to the song like so: Pumpin' Blood -- NONONO (https://soundcloud.com/nononoofficial/nonono-x-pumpin-blood) EDIT: Whoops. I didn't see that other thread. | 2014-07-05 21:22:00 Author: Aeolipyle Posts: 20 |

Until we know what the themes will be, there's no way of coming up with an appropriate soundtrack. I would like to see stuff by KMFDM though :V or anything really jarring for a kid's game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ae1cWqZqezg They had Mocean Worker in LBPK I believe, and his songs would fit LBP well in general. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnueDt93KYk | 2014-07-05 23:34:00 Author: bonner123 Posts: 1487 |
If they're going with the classical final boss theme again, then I'd have to say this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mkp8ZdQ9SqI It seems to fit well with the Collector and the Negativitron fights that came before it. | 2014-07-06 00:41:00 Author: Jakest123 Posts: 319 |
Being able to import our own music would be nice. That would cause a major copyright issue. Personally I would like more songs focused on spesfic genres. There is very little for sad and horror themes. I would like the PSP music in lbp3. But I would Europa by Globus to be in the game as a boss battle music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqkLYTBUkE0 | 2014-07-06 01:15:00 Author: Jonarrthan Posts: 310 |
http://youtu.be/PMiDjsca4nc This could be useful for some kind of fast platformer or boss battle with Oddsock in it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CzBYn7iRSI Fantastic retro and electric music, This could be useful for platormers and shooters! http://youtu.be/0wMhhq7zwPc Amazing song, i recommend this to be in a LBP3 trailer, Either the community or story trailer. http://youtu.be/qWzq4l_ZtPA I'm sure someone will like this, i'm sure this can be useful in retro platformers or puzzle http://youtu.be/NhYB4TnV1DQ Someone could use this for a retro-based boss battle, however it contains electro in it. http://youtu.be/-IO0FZIotRI Amazing music! I can only recommend this for puzzles or cinematic uses only. | 2014-07-06 01:34:00 Author: Tikaki-MooMoo Posts: 524 |

A lot of this music is good, but seems a bit too trance for a franchise like LittleBigPlanet. As it stands now, the only song we know to be associated with the game is Rum Hee (https://soundcloud.com/souterraintransmissions/shugo-tokumaru-rum-hee) by Shugo Tokumaru. | 2014-07-07 02:10:00 Author: Aeolipyle Posts: 20 |
I feel like some chiptune (https://soundcloud.com/demoscenetimemachine/demoscene-time-machine-5) would fit in some techy levels, or fast paced platformers while still having that game feeling Its cool that you could make this with sequencers but id like to see sumo put some of this type of music into their levels | 2014-07-07 02:37:00 Author: amiel445566 Posts: 664 |

LBP has always had fast paced electronic music in it. Crystal Castles comes to mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_LOiiWjpug Maybe something like this with the main vocals taken out would fit well in a LBP game. | 2014-07-08 17:00:00 Author: Jovuto Posts: 2345 |
I agree, lbp and electronic music go hand in hand http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tkwPVkPbWzU | 2014-07-08 17:10:00 Author: EinRobot Posts: 739 |
Crystal Castles comes to mind. yeah, but i don't which song i would choose. I agree, lbp and electronic music go hand in hand http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tkwPVkPbWzU little people! We Are but Hunks of Wood is so good. If nothing else, this is going in a Lost Ages trailer: http://youtu.be/q8xv5faBWEQ I've never actually encountered anyone who listens to so much of the same music as i do. internet high five! some other choices: http://youtu.be/fNT1LVuh-ZU http://youtu.be/uENunBP8Rfg | 2014-07-09 02:22:00 Author: Deftmute Posts: 730 |
yeah, but i don't which song i would choose. I wasn't giving an example of music they could use. I was pointing out that Crystal Castles has been in the soundtrack before. I think it was in LBPV. | 2014-07-09 12:22:00 Author: Jovuto Posts: 2345 |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYH8DsU2WCk Omgyus, that song is perfect... except for LBP. What levels would it be used for? Maybe good in a remix like with Mahalegasceiacisblablabla in LBP2. I feel like some chiptune (https://soundcloud.com/demoscenetimemachine/demoscene-time-machine-5) would fit in some techy levels, or fast paced platformers while still having that game feeling Its cool that you could make this with sequencers but id like to see sumo put some of this type of music into their levels I didn't even need to click the link to know what you're talking about man! Chiptune/8-Bit already had it's share in LBPV with a few retro soundtracks and things. (If whoever from Sumo reads this, consider adding my ear-bleeding 8bit/glitch/electro madness to the game please? soundcloud.com/woutervl plzzz) | 2014-07-09 14:30:00 Author: Woutery Posts: 793 |
I was pointing out that Crystal Castles has been in the soundtrack before. I think it was in LBPV. holy crap! i had no idea. sadly, i don't have a Vita. | 2014-07-10 00:45:00 Author: Deftmute Posts: 730 |
holy crap! i had no idea. sadly, i don't have a Vita. Don't worry; I have a Vita and I can tell you that it really isn't worth buying. (That is, if you already have a PC capable of playing all the indie games that you could buy for it. If you don't, I highly recommend getting one!) | 2014-07-10 03:50:00 Author: Aeolipyle Posts: 20 |
I've heard Ratatat is good but I've never listened to their music. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2d/Warner_Music_Group_logo.svg/501px-Warner_Music_Group_logo.svg.png Shh!! Replying to this even though it's an old post. Just had to mention that everytime I listen to 'Raconte-moi une histoire' I get chills. No idea why, just the bit where the girl says "It would be great, right?" | 2014-07-11 14:55:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |
Yesss!!! Ratatat! Loud Pipes would be awesome in an LBP level. Some other ideas I've had. I feel like all of these would fit in some part of LBP's mystical dreamy atmosphere. (Clearly some vocals would have to be removed but): Kid Astray (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1lNdprR2QQ) Phoenix - Fences (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFqmvInhGYQ) Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. - If You Didn't See Me (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kup9l8wm0R8) Bag Raiders - Shooting Stars (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feA64wXhbjo) Young the Giant - Daydreamer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6z946kUzCI) Then in terms of their more electronic approach, (like Royksopp, Ferry Corsten and Ochre being featured in LBP2): Ochre - Awaiting the Green Morning (https://soundcloud.com/ochre/awaiting-the-green-morning) Porter Robinson - Sad Machine (https://soundcloud.com/porter-robinson/sad-machine) M83 - Outro (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDoEqBas4Y0) Royksopp - Running to the Sea (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qzz_Bm0uaWs) On the more acoustic-ish side of things, I'm SO glad they included Shugo Tokumaru! Korean and Japanese folk music is unbeatable. I thought some other artists like these would be pretty cool to see as well. Lily & Madeline - Spirited Away (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyF8Z2JaxHw) Fleet Foxes - Ragged Wood (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-CEfY9CDLw) Kings of Convenience - Rule My World (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyR8lTkLR4w) Or the Velferd remix of that song^ in terms of Electronic. Either way, I'm sure the game's soundtrack will be properly taken care of. I hope they do a good job to include the lesser known artists like they did last time! They already have Shugo and that's a good start. Can't wait to see what the final OST is though! | 2014-07-17 23:50:00 Author: TheMorta Posts: 29 |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMGCN5hrBT8 Here comes bonner with more obscure crap that would be appropriate for LBP3 potentially! (They have another good song but some of the recommended videos have questionable thumbnails...) Also, Halfby has some music that is tonally similar to the trailer music. I'm not personally a fan, but it is upbeat and happy. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=halfby | 2014-07-27 03:24:00 Author: bonner123 Posts: 1487 |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gChOifUJZMc This would probably fit. Lovely song, they should add in the 30-minute version (i thought there was one that long, right? Or was the 10-minute one the longest?) if they're gonna add it... but what would it be useful for? I don't see this fitting with a lot of levels, it's really slow and stuff. | 2014-09-13 17:19:00 Author: Woutery Posts: 793 |
