I woke up this morning to my third MM pick. I can't say I was surprised, as Steven Isbell had yayed and hearted my level, one by the name of "Expand" (which, by the way, a lot of people seem to dislike, though I think it's quite respectable) last week. But anywho. The point is, the thing that I was somewhat surprised about was the fact that I now appear to have the "Awesomesauce" pin. I know there are many ways you would get this pin, I mean, it's pretty vague in its description. But I guess my question is, does it automatically come with 3 MM picks?

Neh, there is no real way of getting this pin: you gotta be awesome. And by having 3 MM picks you just showed you are a pretty important part of the LBP community, and with great creating skills, so I believe StevenI decided you were awesomesauce enough

The Awesomesauce Pin is equal parts vague and awesome. Generally speaking, you just have to do something amazing that really catches our attention! I suppose it's time to reveal that I've recently been awarding the Prize Crown and the Awesomesauce Pin to creators that make excellent use of the Memoriser in LittleBigPlanet 2. I've been really keen to see folks make great use of the new saving functionality in LittleBigPlanet and it's just my little way of awarding people for taking full advantage of one of the more complex tools from our most recent Premium Level Pack.

Psssh full advantage? Expand was my way of getting my feet wet. I have an rpg level on my moon that memorizes your skills and inventory now that I'm looking to get done before summer is through. Now I'm obligated to REALLY make something cool memorized.

I want an applesauce pin... and then a pork chop one =p To be honest all I really need to do is win another contraption challenge to replace the only pin I ever cared about on 'dav1d0.' That and to try and win myself a crown as my team won the only contest in that series that didn't have that fabulous headpiece attached... what were the chances? =p Anyway, I can shamefully say I haven't played any of the Op's levels but that is about to change. Its not everyday you see a creator with the awesomesauce pin so they must be really good.

I consider those my best.

I honestly think Awesomesauce pins and crowns have been given out WAY too much lately. I see them almost everywhere. And the reasons for giving them out are always stupid. Every single member of JMC got them (including members who never give away their music, they're just a member...every single song by Mr_Kuwaken said "not available as a prize" and he only gave his friends the music...what did he do to deserve the awesomesauce pin and crown???), then there was the "seasonal spirit" thing even though many people hate seasonal levels, and now for the memoriser tool? It's as simple as saving a "on/off" signal for each achievement in this case. >_<

It's as simple as saving a "on/off" signal for each achievement in this case. >_< If there were more Awesomesauce pin earners in the LBP community than the total number of people who won at least one oscar since 1929, then it could be a problem. There are already fewer oscar winners than people who had the Team picked pin. And some people think they're better than others because of the "platinum club" pin, which is just as special as a hamburger at McDonald's.
