Cooperative Conundrum (A 2-Player Co-op)

Introduction
To start off, I want to explain to some of you what Conundrum means. (Just in case you may not understand it.)

Conundrum is a riddle or puzzle that you have to figure out, hence the name Cooperative Conundrum.

You and a sackly friend will go on a journey like no other. Through time and space you must figure out how to make your way through the slightly tricky and unstable environment.

This is a series of levels I have put a lot of thought into and just started creating the other day. I am thinking about 4-5 levels all with a different feel and a different skill level to go with them.

Level 1: Of course level 1 will be the easiest for those of whom are new to cooperative level or just aren't as skilled as our fellow veteran players. Level 1 starts us off in outer space where we must escape to earth by traveling through the space station or rocket ship on a planet. (Haven't figured out what I'm for sure going to do.)

Level 2: Just slightly trickier, you and your sackly friend have now safely touched down to earth and have landed on an island in the middle of the jungle. Lucky for you there's and underwater temple! Legend has it that those who make it to the center of the forbidden temple will be granted one wish! Do you have what it takes to work together to get to the center?

Level 3: I don't want to give away too much of what I'm planning on the ending of the second one. All I have to say is the difficulty doesn't change and you will be cooperating with your sackly friend to get back home in the city.

Level 4: You and your, you know, sackly friend are caught up in the same dream, but two people in one dream don't mix well and the minds collide to make a mis-matched dreamscape! Traverse the land of the weird and more weird to uncover the mystery of how the dreams are connected.

Level 5: This I haven't put any thought into at all. I was thinking Co-op boss battle or something big like that, but I have never been good at boss battles. I tried one once in a level called "B.O.B.", but it was just and EPIC FAIL.

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions are appreciated. And if you made it this far into reading it, you must be at least slightly excited for a cooperative level series. Thanks!

Hi theonlybub.
Your level series sounds 'intriguing'. I like the thought of the puzzles being coop based and it may make for interesting gameplay.
For your first level, I'd go with a rocket-ship over a space-station. It might make the level flow better as in a space-station you'd have to get to an escaped pod and then get to earth. In a rocket you are travelling to earth as you play (making the journey appear longer as your travelling there. Then you crash-land and could maybe even start your second level by cannibalising parts from the crashed ship.

I like your ideas. I will look over everything and make a final decision very soon. I personally when making levels like to draw everything out on paper before I go and create.... I guess it helps me to actually finish my projects. :o2014-06-21 16:22:00
