Had a little play today, and have a few points for you

The Good:

- Your level design is really clear, reminiscent of the old video point and clicks like phantasmagoria etc. Really like that you have open doorways with images of what lies beyond, it helps to remember where you were.
- I liked that so many things in the level were interactive. It was very immersive.
- The puzzles made sense - a key unlocks a padlock, a lighter ignites a candle, etc. That's good - there's so many P&C games I've played where the solutions are soooo random!

To improve on:

Should you ever make any further point and click levels (and I hope you do because this was good!) I really hope you think of the following:

- I didnt like that when I pick up an item, I can't remember what I have. I really missed the functionality that an inventory screen would have added to this game. If I come across an obstacle at the moment, all I had to do was click square and see if an item would unblock the way - there's no puzzle work there, which is the main purpose of a point and click imo. It's not easy to do (I speak from experience!) but the payoff is well worth it!
- The cursor movement is really really slow - I'd have liked something faster & more responsive
- Some of the items that could be picked up still triggered the cursor indicator, even after I'd picked them up. Not a major thing, but can prove a little confusing.

Overall though I had good fun playing, great job!

Yay! I LOVE point&Click adventures and it was great to see one in LBP again. :star::star::star::star::star:

I agree with rialrees and her points to improve.
Also the end of the story wasn't really to my taste, but I hope You make more levels with this gameplay!

@Rialrees : Thanks a lot for your message! To be honest, inventory was implanted in the game, but I simply removed it when I was closed to the end. Why? For some reasons (I still don't understand why) inventory took me 3 scales of thermo, and I prefered used them to improve the visual than have an inventory. I don't know if it the was the right choice, but I do it.

@Schupsi : Thanks to you! I already planed to make "Shards of Memory 2", not the sequel of this one, but with the same bases.

It shouldn't take that much space to make an inventory. Most people seem to struggle with it but efficiently spaced inventory screens can be made, it just depends what all features you need.

Hello,
For no reason (at least I dunno why atm), my level was simply deleted...
Someone know where I can know why please?

It may have been something to do with the massacred corpses?

Perhaps someone reported your level - sorry to say but whilst I had no problem with it, Sony's moderators definitely would have. With these sorts of levels that is a risk you have to choose to take or not.

If I publish it again, I have a risk or something?
Normaly when MM delete a level they don't send us a message?

having never experienced that myself, i wouldn't know for sure, but i suppose there are a large amount of levels being deleted for such reasons, i doubt that every creator would have a personal note detailing why. in this case, republishing it, you are still going to be at risk of it being deleted again, unless you edit out the offensive material. That is your choice to make, I'm afraid!2014-06-30 22:35:00

If I censore my level, I think I change all his "sipirit" imo.
I will wait, to see if he will be deleted again...
Too bad to not have an option to lock level with a "Rated R" or something...

Hello all,
Level is online again, but rebuilded.
I censored myself, a LOT of blood have been removed and the corps is no longer naked.
I hope it's fine now ^^
