Alternative way to pay for MGS pack?

Archive: 7 posts

Hi,
I have a problem I want to buy the MGS pack but I have no credit card
is there a alternative way to pay in the ps online store, because I read somthing in opm over a pre-paid card that could be bought but since then no news about it.
I also know that it wasnt going to appear in every country.
Does somebody else know a way to pay the MGS pack?
Thx in advance

You don't need a credit card. I don't have a credit card, my debit card works fine. As for the Playstation Network Card (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Network_Card) they're only available in Japan and the USA.

Also you could always ask Mummy & Daddy to buy it for you.

I'm afraid you can't. I'm from the Netherlands and we've got a somewhat similair system as Belgium on credit/debit cards. I'm afraid the only way to pay is with a Credit Card.... Might want to try telling your parents that it doesn't run through the REGULAR internet but straight to Sony?*

*This statement may not actually be true... it might work though and the fear of the parents is unwarranted. If your card data is intercepted and misused, the card company will pay it back and pursue the criminals in their own time, I've had experience with this stuf....

Really? I can use a debit card and I'm using the European store too. Any Maestro card should work.

Also Torxe_01, tell your parents they've been watching too many movies! As long as you're shopping with a reliable retailer (like Sony), shopping online is 100% safe. e-Commerce is massive business, here in the UK ?1 in every ?6 is spent online (http://www.zdnetasia.com/news/internet/0,39044908,62036802,00.htm). It's amazing how many people worldwide still think that if you shop online evil hackers WILL get all your bank details.

Really? would be my bad then . Chances that you get hacked are quite slim. If you normally check your bank accounts every month the effect of getting hacked is pretty small too (the bank will compensate you).
