Create Mode?

Archive: 6 posts

The next thing i'm going to get is DEFINITELY going to be a PS3. If only because LBP2 is awesome and LBP3 is gonna be released on the PS3 too. There's just this one problem that i have.

Does anyone know a video of creating in LBP2? I've seen incredibly complex levels on YouTube already, but i want to know how they've been made. I'm a creator on the Vita and i must say that the levels on there seem loads less complicated than the levels on LBP2, so i'm assuming it's easier to create, but i want to know for sure.

Neeehhhh if you can create in Vita you can do it as well in PS3. Just get used to the controls, its basically the same. Some things are different, for example in Vita you obviously have the touch stuff that is not possible in PS3. In Vita you also get the dynamic and static functions and the dephysic tool which are very handy and that last time I checked did not exist on PS3. Aside from that, it is pretty much the same! 2014-06-10 22:39:00

There's plenty of in-game tutorials, plus plenty of video and written tutorials on here that should help you. And of course, there's always the help section on here which has been very useful for me in the past.2014-06-12 15:51:00

You might want to get the Move Pack DLC, Cross Controller DLC, Muppets Kit, and DC Kit. Without those, you won't get some of the cool tools. Even the memorizer and decoration spinner can't be used without the DC Comics Kit.2014-06-12 19:21:00

You'll adapt very quickly, it's essentially the same with minor differences in what you have. Definitely invest in the dlc kits though, most importantly the move kit, but also the dc kit. The move kit has sticker panel, which I've found to be the most essential and most frequently used material in virtually all of my levels, and I'm one of those who makes the very complex things. The dc, as someone said has the memorizer, which can be done without, but it's a really cool addition to many levels, and even essential to some.2014-06-12 22:04:00
