Possible Official Level Set - The Aquariums
Archive: 12 posts
An idea for another bunch of levels under one creator curator. Curtesy of Mm of course, but that'll be far dreaming. The Aquariums, under the rule of Tryiton (Try-it-on, geddit?) are an open introduction to.. possibly liquids (should they ever be released) and a few other bits and bobs you might find intresting. The Background in these levels are Lovely shade of Blue Caves, odd bits of seaweed here and there. The Int Music you aquire will be much like the Splash Blue Official Arrangement, split up from (suprise suprise) Ambient FX, Drums, Melody ect.:hero: Anyways, plot I shan't be too bothered with. Maybe another time I could edit this? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 2009-02-17 21:39:00 Author: neonrage0 ![]() Posts: 284 |
Hmmm...I have several ideas of possible plots; 1)A shark is terrorising the other fish in the aquarium and you need to stop him and his minions. 2)There is a leak somewhere in the aquarium but you're going to have to travel through the tanks to find it. 3)An evil crab wants to take over the aquarium and you have been turned into a fish (via a fish costume). Try and stop him! Of course, there are probabley better ideas, these are just off the top of my head. I like the idea a lot though | 2009-02-17 22:05:00 Author: Coxy224 ![]() Posts: 2645 |
Pretty neat idea. This pack could introduce a new "Swimming" game mechanic. | 2009-02-17 23:10:00 Author: olit123 ![]() Posts: 1341 |
Well, they'll most likely release the beach theme they were planning by summer (JUST AN ASSUMPTION), so I wouldn't get your hopes up. | 2009-02-18 01:31:00 Author: Sack-Jake ![]() Posts: 1153 |

They were planning a beach theme? Do tell more on this subject... | 2009-03-01 14:04:00 Author: neonrage0 ![]() Posts: 284 |
I think that water would be too hard to code in LBP, maybe in LBP 2? (Or PSP version, doubt it though.) Although, I'm really hoping for an Egyptian-themed level. There's Japan, Africa, Russia.. where's Egypt?! ![]() | 2009-03-02 07:57:00 Author: AwesomePossum ![]() Posts: 446 |
I think the aquarium is an awesome idea, but I'd settle for that beach you mentioned too. I really hope they one day decide to add some water physics to the game. I don't know if the engine can incorporate it, but one can dream, right? | 2009-03-02 14:44:00 Author: Morrinn3 ![]() Posts: 493 |
Heres a pic of the seaside theme mentioned: http://static.gamesradar.com/images/mb/GamesRadar/us/Games/L/LittleBigPlanet/Bulk%20Viewers/PS3/2008-05-06/UPM101.lbp.seaside_d--screenshot.jpg it was intended to be a part of the main story until they for some unexplained reason took it out ![]() | 2009-03-02 15:27:00 Author: Marklin80 ![]() Posts: 458 |
I could see many uses for that background, the docks could be great as background in a factory level or something. | 2009-03-02 17:36:00 Author: Zwollie ![]() Posts: 2173 |
I like that background, there should be an underwater one as well. | 2009-03-02 17:39:00 Author: olit123 ![]() Posts: 1341 |
