Searching for Wonder

After weeks and weeks of procrastination and crying in the corner, i give you my latest err.. masterpiece? Anyways "Searching for Wonder" takes place in a village named Wonder (who would of thought, huh?) This village is built within the mountain side(s). So you can pretty much infer that if you fall you'll die. Most of the gameplay is basic but the visuals are awesome (in my opinion!). mostly thank to the over-abuse bubble glass!

Hi DawnBreaker_23,

I found your level, and the outside it looked very appealing, the title made me wonder what the level could be about what could be included. The level packed nice visuals, good use of materials and backgrounds. I liked the pine cones are grabbable objects, giving more of a theme to it rather than just random thing misplaced everywhere. However, gameplay wise, I felt it was very basic, and I feel the level lacked direction, or maybe I'm just stupid. Also, how platforms were visible in the background, but not something you could stand on threw me off many times, as countless times I fell to my death. I also ended up giving up, as the obstacles became very annoying, as the lack of checkpoints made me backtrack so much space. I the cameras were good in area, but near the start when you pull the lever for the wall to go on its side, there was no way of telling what had actually happened, so I wandered round trying to see what had happened.

Overall, visually, this level is good. To improve gameplay, maybe make it more obvious the route you play to take, and a few more checkpoints to stop me backtracking a lot. Good effort nonetheless.

Thanks Dyna for the detailed review. I'm not sure if you read the description or not but I mentioned that the level mostly took place in the front layer (3rd layer). The gameplay I know was basic and very plain (mostly for visuals tho, tbh). Hard? Not so sure about that but could you tell me what part (s) gave you the most trouble? Again, thanks.
