3 types of level sizes.

I was just thinking, it would be quite useful if there were different types of level sizes.
A wide one, A High one and a normal one. Wide one if you want to do a race level or something, and a High one if your doing a more going up level.

Neat idea, but it's not needed really. You just have to make the borders if you want a high/wide level. And it's definately not the empty levels that take thermo space even though they're HUGE.2009-02-17 18:47:00

It's not really a matter of therme space though. In my level, I used the entire breadth from the left end to the right, and I originally wanted to make the sanctuary section at the end a bit longer, but couldn't due to size restrictions >_>2009-02-17 19:27:00

Yea I could see how this could be usefull... a fall from the top doesnt last quite long enough, and a race can tend to be pretty short...2009-02-17 19:36:00

uhh... I don't think its needed actually... Because you can shape you level to what you desire... so I don't think it's really nesscesary....

Although.... If you really want to make a long vertical level, then it could be usefull :/ hhmm I don't know

I guess it is slightly unessecery (Is that how you spell it unessecery?), but if you've tried making a race level, you get to the boundaries of the level really quickly. That is where the wide level would come in handy.

Having 2 rockets on your extremely awesumnezz1 cart instead of a billion, really makes the level look alot longer you know Also, you can drive on the ceiling if you push your car down with rockets. There you have it, you're level is twice as long already.2009-02-18 13:44:00

Well both my levels pushed the width boundary, I even had to curve the second one around so it would fit. You are never moving faster than walking speed in my levels. A level boundary that would be 50% wider would be great. My levels don't go far vertically though..2009-02-19 07:36:00
