You just haven't discovered the magical Photoshop tutorials all over teh internets. I could send you them if you want. It makes making a signature 100 times easier and they look so much better!		2009-02-15 23:49:00

Sigs all seem to be one color, but the effects are good. Try adding borders aswell.2009-02-16 09:34:00

GIMP.

I have an old version of photoshop, so now I've converted to GIMP. I want to get some 3D software, though, so I can make kewl 3D ones.		2009-02-17 20:08:00

I think I might start using GIMP, I've just never got used to it. There is a limit to what sigs you can create on MS word. Trying to find some downloadable brushes now.

EDIT- I just played around with the normal brushes for a bit and made this.

I was going to add a render of some sort but couldn't find anything that looked right for it. Now though I have an idea of how GIMP works but still I copied screenshots of the GIMP part into word to make the dimensions of the image less confusing (still don't know how to do much in GIMP)

Nope, well actually I design all my sigs on powerpoint. When I have finished a sig I play the slideshow and take a screenshot. I then crop the image to just the right size and right click it and select save as image. I then load it onto photobucket.


Even the ones I did on GIMP I took a screenshot and copied them into powerpoint.		2009-02-19 20:58:00

Sig one:
My favourite, I have never played F3 but I think thats the "Brotherhood Of Steel" amirite? The background is awesomely awesome and I love the personal not-able-to-spell-own-username touch to it.
(Want to know how you did background)

Sig two:
Nice background, not sure that it suits with the render though, I have also not played the GOW series but I think it is more dark and eeeeeeeeevil, still cool though ^^

Sig three:
Sorry but my least favourite, the background is a bit, nyeh. I would still like to know how you did it though. :O

Sig four:
Nice effect for the background and nice shading behnd the render, very cool.

Sig five:
Very cool colours and effect there, I'm guessing they are brushes for the effects I am seeing? Suh-weet. I also very much like the render and the opacity of the text.

For the "Other Stuff" Holy crap they are amazingly awesome *Jaw-drops*

*Tips*
1. Borders, putting a 1-2px black border cleans signatures up nicely, also bevels are nice too. There are also ways of creating your own borders such as Select all, then stroke to selection with varying thickness then messing with opacity.

2. This is a good-un, I have found that an incredibly good thing to do when scaling images is NOT to use the scale tool, as it destroys the quality, you go to the images tab, then select scale image, you will get a window with the x/y values and the pixels, I put the pixels up as I scale the image down, this keeps the render quality high. Which is very useful, you probably already know this,but, meh, you might not. ^^

The flame filter is your friend.

Haven't updated this in a long time. I've made some new Well, just letting you all know I learned why my fonts looked so crappy, so they won't anymore!

It's too bad, though. My pop-out sig would be so much better if I had learned this before. I learned it the sig after...lol.
