On the brink of war logic city has set up it's defences for the on coming attacks. This has been escalate by the death of the kings daughter and the attack on a milliary transport vehical holding the suspect. As a wanted sack you must flee the city. To escape you must travel through the city. However this time prisoners won't be taken.

This is the playible final level within the logic city chapter. The concept was inspired by sonic adventure 2 city escape, Special thanks goes to Bladex61 for granting me promision to use his music. This level contains a mix of traditional and fast pace gameplay. The thermo for this level is completely full and wouldn't let me add another score bubble so I had to cut the final cutscene. I choose a more light hearted nature to contrasted with the serious situation.

Due to the dynamic and fast paced nature of this level it was hard to get good in game snapshots like normal.

Please enjoy and leave feedback. If you wish for me to leave feedback in return please reply with either your level's LBP.me link or Your level's showcase thread (if you want a detailed review and suggestions). Anyway thanks for playing

Greetings, Jürgen^
I saw your in game review and I was only able to add 1 more checkpoint (due to thermo) however I replaced the ones I already placed with infinate life check points, well except the enterance. What parts did you find frustrating? I will see what I can do to make them better. I am kind of unsure of the ending with the minigun whether it seems out of place.

Hi Jonarrthan, thanks a lot for your fast reaction! Your level has been funny to me though I did only reach the water pipe! My problem has been that I died too often! The first obstacles I had to explore before I found out, how to break through them! The limitation of lives didn't give me a real chance (maybe I'm not the most skilful player!) to survive! So I had to start again! After having beaten this first obstacle I had been optimistic, but then the same experience: no chance to explore an obstacle without dying! And then having to start again. This has been frustrating to me, because the level seems to be really entertaining!
Its been a pity to me! I will play it in the evening once more! Endless lives is helpful and the additional checkpoint also can make the difference! I'm looking forward to see the rest of your level! I will give you my feedback afterwards!
Many greetings, Jürgen^^

My first problem have been the laser cannons in the beginning! In the waterpipe there have been some stings which I did not expect! In my next trial I will take some photographs so that I can do a better explanation! Jonarrthan, could be that I've only been too awkward, and I'm hoping that I didn't upset you. Sorry if it came off as aggressive actually I am very thankful of your input. As I often don't reconise how difficult the level is when I make it. So I really value any feedback 2014-05-29 10:25:00

Hi Jonarrthan, after your update and with the "endless lives" checkpoints I could enjoy your level without frustrations anymore! Thanks for this improvements You've created a fine platformer with some interesting gameplay elements and an unusual visual design. I felt entertained pretty well, so thank you for that! I will explore your planet and look what you've created so far! Part16, I assume that there are some prequels to find there! Many greetings, Jürgen^^2014-05-30 09:10:00

Great job on the level Jonarrthan.

The visuals looked good, though a bit sloppy at times. For instance, some areas felt a little more empty than they needed to be. Also, The ships sitting still toward the end when using the grappling hook could have used some movement for effect, though I know you said thermo was an issue. Overall it worked.

I like that gameplay was a little varied. It kept things interesting throughout the entire playthrough. There was a bit of an issue with being able to fire upon enemies well before they can see you. That and the firing mechanic was one that I barely used at all anyway.

The final part made for a good climactic sequence. It went on just a little too long, but not so much to where the level dragged. There were some cool ship designs, and that part makes for a great screenshot.

I was disappointed in the end as well, I wanted to do a little more with the scene where your using the grappling hook near the end but couldn't due to thermo. that is why near the end the level freezes for a couple of seconds I had to cut a lot of contant to fit the final part in. Thanks for your review. The firing mechanic is kind of wasted in this level but necessary in the last 2 levels and the next thew. Hopefully my next level after the one I am making will go more according to plan as I plan to have to add a new power up which will go well with the fire one.2014-05-31 21:16:00

Reading through the previous comments, I'm glad you changed the checkpoints to infinite because I died a lot. That's not a negative thing though. I die a lot in most games lol. I really liked the varied gameplay and the visuals. While the shooting mini game at the end is very different from everything leading up to it, I really enjoyed shooting loads of enemy ships The orange background looked great.

The only times I really got stuck were a couple of the wall jump sections. The wall materials were metal and I usually don't think of wall jumping with that material. It took me awhile to figure out I could jump there. Actually it wasn't that big of deal. I know what it's like to a have a full thermo. It's really hard to change anything even if it's minor. I'm actually impressed with the level that I didn't get lost more because there is quite a bit of backtracking. That shows that you designed everything well.

I would like to play some of the older levels in your series to understand the story better.

I may just turn on the visuals for the wall jump until I think of something better, I am not sure at the momment however. I may just try to put some arrows to avoid ruining the visuals.2014-06-03 11:30:00
