Welcome to the flipside of the FLIPSIDE!

The create contest is over and now it’s the turn of the players!

So do you have mad skills, enjoy a challenge or can’t resist going for that high score? Then this contest is for you. The challenge is simple: play all the short listed levels from the Flipside create contest and get the highest score you can before the deadline. Entrants will be awarded points for every place in the top ten on the scoreboard, i.e. 10 points for first place, 9 for second and so down to 1 point for 10th place.
The winner of the play contest will get an LBPC pin and a $20 PSN card.

To enter post your PSN ID in this thread (or if you’re having problems posting on LBPC get a friend to post for you or let one of the Contest Crew know on Twitter or PSN) and we’ll add you to the list of entrants in this post.

Sadly, there were not enough entries in the Vita create contest for us to be able to run a Vita play contest as well.

Rules

• Play each of the short listed levels as many times as you want to achieve the best score you can
• Deadline is 11.59 pm BST (British Summer Time) on Saturday, 17th May
• Creators of the short listed levels may not enter the play contest
• Only single player scores will be counted (as playing with a friend can yield higher scores)
• Last but not least, have fun, play fair and respect other entrants! The judges reserve the right to disqualify any player who is gaming the rules and to change the scoring system if they consider it is being exploited in any way

I don't want to tell everyone what to do, but a good idea would be to heart the lvl link to all the levels. Wait is it a hub?? . It would be a major help.
The majority of people that visit forums are creators?? That would mean that not many know about this sweet contest. Could someone convince steven to put it in the news?? : P

It's a shame there weren't enough vita levels for the play contest, I guess no one will play my level now But it would be unfair if LBP2 players had to get more high scores than vita players so it's fine I want to remake my level in LBP2 anyway

Thank you! That's great. I've contacted a few players and Coolman100 has also said he'd like to join in xD We've also included a nodinator in the Spotlight hub (at least I think we have, I haven't played it yet!) containing all the short listed levels and telling people about the contest. Steven has put the hub in the news this afternoon so with any luck we might get a few more people joining in.

This is pretty cool. I have noticed a few people are playing pretty hard in my level. They keep pushing that bar up higher and higher. Hope its not stressing anyone out : P

I just visited the hub with the levels, and my link was not anywhere to be found there.:/ Is it possible that i misread something, somewhere wrong?? Episode 136 right ? Someone must not like me very much : p ( i didn't see shookies level there as well )

Plus i did notice the levels where not explained as contest PLAY entries. and that a sweet awesome prize is awarded to the winner!

Congrats to coolman! He did nice job with the high scores, especially in quick/slow combo, I'll upload a vid of my 2nd place for that level later today and you'll see why his score is close to perfection.

This contest was a total blast! Hahaha. Only managed to get points in about 3 or 4 levels but it was really fun! The only one I couldn't even get close to the top 10 was in dolphins-r-lame's level! Man that was so hard xD

Oh and btw great job p-p-j in that run! I can't see how can you go more perfect than that. I believe I got stuck in about 13th place in that level.		2014-05-18 18:53:00

Predictions?? Hmmm i liked a lot of these levels. It must have been hard for the judges. Different styles of levels. From collecting lots of bubbles to not collecting anything . Mini games and platformers. Mini games excel in there nicely displayed menus and quick fun. And then platformers have there little stories And variety of gameplay.
I personally think platformers win over a mini game. Just because : p

This could be anyones crown if you ask me. Maybe we are waiting so long because we are all getting crowns. haaa i doubt it.
Great job everyone. We are ready for another contest, crew. Put us to work. : D
