Silly people. Think you're pretty slick picking up an overpriced promo disc from eBay, don't you? Well then, you won't feel so smooth after reading this. Guerrilla says those promotional copies of Killzone 2 lack a vital component of the game: its online features. For those who can't do the math, that's half a game for four times the price. The joystiq article is refering to a promo disc (white bluray with red text in a plastic wallet) the guy in the op has a retail version.

OMG wow, it has BOTSS!!!!! How much I have longed for a game with multiplayer bots on the PS3... Nobody knows whether it will be able to play online.. Hearing stories that the promo copies are make AFTER it's gone Gold, so it will have the online features, but they won't work until release date. Also hearing stories that they've been completely scrapped out
