Memorizer Question
Archive: 4 posts
Hey i plan to make RPG type level. But i have no idea how the memorizer actually works. Is possible to have the memorizer save progress in a level where the player can continue where they left off? | 2014-04-29 01:28:00 Author: Thug_Life_EQ Posts: 181 |

Yes, play the MM picked tutorial and if you have questions as to how to apply it to an RPG, just come ask us. | 2014-04-29 03:44:00 Author: Rpg Maker Posts: 877 |
The best thing to do is to use the memorizer to preform 2 functions 1) Memorize a checkpoint location a)Tag sensor inputted from every checkpoint into a selector, and pulse saved after every change to auto apply 2) Memorize stats to form the illusion of remembered data a) EXAMPLE: Exp., Damage, Kills, Time, ETC. Those are the main points, but if you wish for me to go deeper, just ask for any of the main points to be described better | 2014-05-05 05:12:00 Author: amiel445566 Posts: 664 |
Yes, play the MM picked tutorial and if you have questions as to how to apply it to an RPG, just come ask us. Here's the level RPG Maker was talking about (btw thanks for pointing that out. Looks like it's worth a look) http://lbp.me/v/qrczwx3 There is also one or two tutorials in the vita tutorial section of this forums as the memorizer has been around there a bit longer. 2) Memorize stats to form the illusion of remembered data a) EXAMPLE: Exp., Damage, Kills, Time, ETC. Not really sure why you call putting these values into the memorizer an "illusion." It actually is saving the data just like how most games do it. | 2014-05-05 06:03:00 Author: koltonaugust Posts: 1382 |
