Hi HyperFlash. Sorry if the last one wasn't what you were looking for.
Ok... reading this post, is what you want to do...
1. have it rotate as before...
2. while your pressing X it moves in the desired direction, gradually getting faster (fastest speed being where the red arrow is in distance. Then it gradually slows down to a stop?
3. if you release the X button before it reaches full speed, it stops too.

if this is what your after...
1. Set your angle turning rotation as before.
2. Delete the previous X button...setup and start this portion anew.
Start by placing on the chip a Sequencer and a Not Gate. Wire the X Buttons output to the input on the sequencer, Also wire the X buttons
output to the input on the not gate, and wire the not gates output to the reset tab on the sequencer.
On the sequencer itself, tweak it to be speed scale and not looping. Also, make it 4 bars long.
Set is 'strips per second' to be the duration you want the maximum distance travelled if X is help, to be.
Lastly, place on the a Mover on the sequencer, stretched to cover covering the first 3 bars.

-How it works-
When you press X it starts the sequencer playing. If you keep X pressed, it will play the sequencer to the end, however, the mover on it will only play while it is being read, so it will automatically stop when it reaches the end (where there is no mover logic being read)

If you release pressing X, it activates the Not gate and will reset the sequencer to the beginning.
You will need to adjust the movers Acceleration, up/down positive speed and deceleration, depending on how quick you want it to speed up, or slow down. Also ensure Local space is set to yes.
You will notice the input action is shaded out. This is because the input action is now set by the sequencer instead. .

I'm on most nights... So feel free to invite me if it helps.

You just need a timer connected to an and gate along with a release switch (not gate to a pulser (counter set to one with output to reset) ), timer for strength, then connect the output to the reset of the timer as well. After that connect the output of the timer into a mover and set it to speed scale, then just choose your settings like before 2014-04-25 03:27:00
