Can't you just buy a psn card with your money and get it that way.2009-02-07 10:00:00

My wife and I bought the game. It's fun and addictive and worth the $10 in our opinion. It has 9 gameplay modes and 3 "secret" codes that let you change things up a little. Keep at it and sooner or later the old man will give in! Hmm, old man doesn't sound good since I'm probably as old as your dad. 2009-02-07 10:29:00

I use to love this game. I should check out the PSN store...

If you enjoyed this one (and have the money to spare) then Puzzle Quest is played along similar lines but with RPG elements thrown into the mix. You can get it on most major formats as well (DS, PSP, PS2, Wii, PC, Xbox Live, PSN). The PSN version (and probably the Xbox live one) has extra classes to try out, so it's the one I would recommend if you have any system to pick.

I'll have a look at the demo of Bejewled 2 though, if the games as good as I remember, I'll have to get the full game.

I had a look in the PSN store, and did not see it in the Australian store. I haven't signed up for any foreign ones.

I did see a PS3 downloadable Lumines which I did buy though, as well as an arcade shooting thing.

Ah well, I guess for whatever reason Bejeweled 2 is not in the Australian PSN store at the moment, unless I somehow missed it in my search.

I may be wrong about this, but I don't remember seeing the Lumines game in North American stores! So you got one, we got one this time I bought Bejeweled on the PSN, such an addictive game. I'm just a little disappointed there's no multiplayer. For 10$ (when you can play this game for free on the net) I would have expected to be able to compete with someone, like you could on the msn version of the game. Anyway still tons of fun! And you can play the original mode by the way, as in the way it was played in Bejeweled 1, by using the d-pad to go though all the modes in a circular motion... So just hit > v < ^ > v etc until the game starts on its own, there will be no hyper or power cubes, just like the original!

Lumines is in the NA store, at least in mine. It came out in the US before Bejelewed 2 did. A lot of people have complained about the price, but there isn't as much to the free version as this one, and if you go to the website I think the identical pc version of Bejelewed 2 still costs $15, so the PS3 version is a discount. But yeah, some kind of multiplayer would have been nice. Speaking of original mode, it's a lot of fun and the last time I checked, cough, ahem, I had the top score! Sorry, I couldn't resist, bad me, lol.2009-02-11 05:04:00
