Oh my Gawd!!! so I got home today, hooked up my playstation and HFSWTFOMFG it acts like theres no game in it... try it again, same thing.. just to be sure I put in shawn of the dead, started right up... tried god of war 2, it works... aparently from what ive figured out my blueray drive is busted, Effed up, or somthing like that.. Soo since i got my pS3 on release day, and my warranty is long since dried up, my options are either... pay $145 us for sony to fix it, or live with a $700 PS2... hmm either way it sucks... I think at this point as loyal of a customer as Ive been to Sony and playstation.. if they wanna charge me 145 to fix a problem (that really seems to be a problem with there machine not anything I did) Xbox may have a brand new fanboy... I just hope customer loyalty will come into play in some way, and they will fix it for free, because I already know that Xbox will fix the only real problem its known for having for free...

Well imma go cut my wrists...

talk to you later...

Have you tried playing Home or something, and then press the ps button in-game to see if the disk icon's there?..2009-02-07 08:52:00

If you ring Sony and make a big deal out of it and get really angry they fix it for free sometimes.
