I took one about a year ago, it was by a very serious science magazine so think it's pretty "real". | code i think your on to something there are a lot of variables going into it to say person X is smarter than person Y. But, in a true IQ test age doesn't matter no matter what age you are the average is 100. | I know mine above 125, but I'm not sure of the exact number as I took it when I was very young. Truth is that your IQ shouldn't vary as it's not a measure of how much you know via education and such. Either way, above 125 categorized me as "gifted" and I know I was way smarter than a few other people in that class. If I had to guess I'd say I'm in the 140's. | 129 reporting. IQ tests are an inaccurate scale for measuring intelligence. They always have a cultural bias (not a bias against cultures, but a bias towards to what a specific, or culture or society values as intelligent). People without an education in what our western doctrines values as intelligent would be branded as "mentally handicapped" simply because the weren't raised the same as you. Also Define intelligence. Does it include creativity, coredination or just "booksmarts" (for lack of a better term). To many variables are missed when attempting to resume ones worth. | I don't know what mine is but I know my dads is over 150!! I am pretty smart and my parents and friends always think out of the box. Personally, I think IQ tests aren't accurate because they usually just test you on things you learn in books and stuff. | 144 according to most of the more accurate tests. I mainly score high because of my maths skills, pattern recognition and spatial awareness 2D and 3D, as well as the logic parts. If it's one of the "IQ" tests that include "general knowledge" my score goes down closer to 120 because I hold little to no interest in current affairs except those that directly concern me. Things like the royal family, celebrities etc hold no weight with me, and as far as I am concerned, do not count towards IQ, and I will actively avoid an IQ test that contains such questions, not because of a lower score, but because I don't believe that things like that make up your IQ. | On this page at least 5 people have claimed to have over 140 IQ. According to the graph this is either a pretty phenomenal forum, or we're not as clever as we think we are. I'll spoil it - it's the latter. Unless you've sat an official, in person IQ test (menza or whatever) the IQ that you're sure you have is completely wrong. You do realise that websites will automatically give you a higher score, so you think you're different and special and to make you purchase from the website to find out "how you done so well!" In one of your other posts in this thread it said it was remembering things from books; IQ is the opposite. If you get a lower score on an IQ test when you are younger then it would convert to a lower IQ if you got the same score when you were about 20.
