Created in the early 1900s in the Soviet Union, commissioned by the Institute for Egg Awareness, Esmerelda's Comprehensive Guide To Homeowning is a schoolbook example of the camp-infused, yet avantgarde kitsch that's characteristic to the auteur, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, better known by his artistic alter ego Sovereign Surpreme. Like all truly great art, Esmerelda's Comprehensive Guide To Homeowning spawned a lot of controversy in its primitive time, and landed its creator in jail due to charges for treason. The work is highly polarizing, some considering it Rousseau's magnum opus – Ayn Rand quoting it as a major influence in her philosophy – while others sneer at it in derision, as if it was made by Jackson Pollock, namely Jackson Pollock himself. In Esmerelda's Comprehensive Guide To Homeowning, the main character Esmerelda explores themes of ownership, power dynamics, existentialism, and geometric topology; however, due to the heavy use of allegories, a small branch of exegesis – esmereldic exegesis – dedicated singularly to interpreting Esmerelda's Comprehensive Guide To Homeowning has emerged. Several different and heavily conflicting interpretations exist, which was very likely to be Rousseau's true intention, at least according to Abraham Maslow and others subscribing to the Parabolic Principle.

I don't really want to spoil the level, so please enjoy the alternate level description provided above. Feel free to discuss the level among yourselves, though. It's a puzzle for you to figure out.

This level is very..tricky and confusing and I like it.

I haven't cracked the puzzle yet, and I have no idea what the key is. For those of you trying to solve the mysteries presented by esmeralda, please consider my observations and add your own ones.
Play the level on your own before reading the next parts

I made a map of the layout! http://i.imgur.com/gqQfHKi.jpg

Here are my conclusions thus far:
1. This puzzle is hard and I have no idea what to do
2. All paths but one cannot be backtracked. Choose a path, and you will follow it to the next room, and once you're there you cannot go back the path. UNLESS it is the path leading from the yellow room to the red room or vice versa, that path is open both ways.
3. The first esmeralda head at the start is dark blue, and has no static for whatever reason.
4. All esmeralda heads if one counts out the first one is pointing in different directions! Why is this important? It probably isn't.

The red room is interesting. If one goes from purple to red room, one is forced to take the path leading to the yellow room, the path leading to light blue is blocked. However if one comes from the yellow room to the red room then the path to light blue is open. Considering the path from yellow->red or the other way around goes BOTH ways one can do the following: Go from purple, to red, to yellow, back to red and then to light blue.

Why is any of this even useful? What does Esmeralda want? Are the sound queues important? More research tomorrow.

Actually, Ayn Rand highly objects to the notion of a sovereign will. That idea is antithetical to the radical individualism she purports in her final treatise Esmerelda Teaches Typing. Having been released during the early Soviet era, Esmereda's Comprehensive Guide to Homeowning presented theories regarding property ownership that influenced both Marxist-Leninists and capitalists. Indeed, it played a role in the formation of a crucial alliance that led the allies to win during the Third World War Two. The topology inherent in this work attempts to reconcile the differences between the philosophy of Rousseau (who also goes by the alias Rou-Dawg) and Nietzsche. The analysis situs allows for the many ideas to be broken apart and analyzed independent. Esmerelda's Comprehensive Guide to Homeowning has influenced the thought process of many generations, and has just been discovered and published yesterday in order to influence many more.
