| Well mine started back in god knows when. I was creating a site on "MatMice" (Is a closed site now) and I used the Username Pantyer. Idiotically I chose my password as Pantyer2. (Don't worry, I don't use it as Password anymore) For some reason instead of using Pantyer all the time, I now use Pantyer2. | As random and dumb as my name sounds, it does have a story behind it: I used to use PizzaBling as a username for a bunch of things (don't ask why), but the PSNetwork wouldn't let me have it. So, with my quick acting brain, I figured that if PizzaBling was gone, I only had a few precious seconds to come up with another good name. | Might as well get this one out of the way since I'll probably get questions about it sooner or later and it has quite a story behind it. My username translates to "Crow Killer" in the native tongue of the Native American Crow tribe and was the nickname of one of their enemies, John Johnson, a (in)famous mountain man from the American Wild West. The Crow actually killed his pregnant Native American wife and Johnson swore revenge, embarking on a years long one-man war with the tribe and killing several of them. He also had another nickname: "Liver-Eating Johnson," from the rumors of...what else he'd do to the Crow tribesmen after he killed them as a form of ultimate disrespect, but there's no way to know for sure if those rumors were true. Needless to say, it's quite possible Johnson was a psycho but his feats are impressive to say the least. Ultimately, all the attempts to take him out failed and the Crow were so desperate to get Johnson off their backs they made peace with him and made him an honorary chieftan. | When I started playing Guild Wars, I decided on a character naming convention - Japanese goddesses (as I'm Japanese-born you see). Nakatsu Hime turned out to be my most used and powerful character (a curses Necromancer if you're interested). I now use this as a logon name for most things. Nakatsu Hime is the goddess of the middle-world. It also assists my terrible memory. | My name... well it all started on Xbox live (hey put the knife down I wanted a Ps3 k??) w8 - no it all started at my mates house in the land of Scotland. He was messing around on a weird online game with spaceships and his name was "Squinty-Toe" as he had recently broken his toe. We all thought this was hilarious so I decided to make a profile too - but I couldn't think of a proper name in-front of all the scotsmen, so I made it a copy of my mates name, only I changed some of the nouns and adjectives... "Squinky-Poodle" ... what??? Well anyway due to it's unpopularity I grew to be quite renowned in this game, but everybody just called me Squinky so to save time I changed it to that. To cut a long story short there was a guy who annoyed me once by killing me while I was on the same side, so I killed him the next time I saw him. He was VERY cross and got his possy together and started abusing me and spreading negative propaganda against me - so I changed my name to "Salat Fingres" ... but that's off the point. Anyway, on Xbox live I was trying to think of a name and I recalled that my old name "Squinky" was quite popular so I used that. Surprisingly, someone already had that so I used "Squinky789" and that has been my name on Xbox since.... Oh right! This is for my Keanster name! ****! Well I've already typed all that so I'm not deleting it - besides - it is all relevant. Everybody took the *** out of my name on xbox so I wanted to change it - but for ?15?????? Yeah right! It was around then I got my PS3. My username was ErictheViki1ng as I spelled the iconic Monty Python character's name wrong, but when that profile went corrupt (on LBP anyways..) I needed a new name. I tried using my name (Kean), my date of birth (1996) and my gender (male) in it, and came up with "KeanyBoi96" but my family and friends informed me it sounded too much like the name of a rent boy, so I tweaked a few parts and came up with my current name. But I changed it to PhosphorusFedora15 because it I wanted it to relate to the Periodic Table of Elements, and I wanted to keep the "Fedora" in my username. | I'm surprised this thread is still around, seeing how old it is. :o My username comes from a character I created that has stuck with me for the past 5 years now. I was reading a manga at the time, and the main character's name happened to be Cree. So... I kinda borrowed it from her. I spelled it with different letters just for the sake of uniqueness. The last name came a little later after I was slapping some katakana characters together to find something that would sound cool, and you can see the result I got (it's pronounced nah-KAH-ree even though it would've been different if spoken in Japanese). Just as an FYI (you may not even care), Qrii's personality and behavior greatly contrast mine in multiple ways, so I give emphasis on the fact that Qrii, the character in my levels, does not accurately show the way I act towards others. | Well, seeing how some writers or artists created their pseudonyms by "fusing" letters of their first and last names, I thought of doing the same and came up with "Sev" by joining the first two letters of my first name with the first letter of my last name. But that was too short to use as username in every site, so I added the "Snipy". My friends called me that as a joke because everytime I played Counter-Strike with them, I always picked up the sniper rifle despite being a terrible, terrible sniper. So I just needed to get a longer username and decided to ad the "Snipy" part without taking time to think of something better. It started to annoy me since Killzone 2 came out though. The protagonist of Killzone 2 and 3 is some chap called "Sev" (shortening of "Sevchenko", if I recall correctly) and since then everybody just assumes I have this nickname because I'm a huge fan of Killzone... | Well, the name RagTagPwner has absolutely no siginificance... at all. I haven't used it for very long and I just matched mashed some words together. I made it for my Xbox LIVE account, then I was like... "Meh, it'll do I guess," and used it for a few other things. Then I realised I don't really care for it, so lately I've been reverting to my 8 year old username, "Prof. Bean Me." Well, originally it was just Bean Me (based off this old Garfield website that might still be around) and I used it for Halo 2, but I added Prof. to the beginning because of my affinity for the appliance of science (mechanical and computer science that is).
