Once again, I have a misleading title. >_> So we've all seen Sony's E3 conference, or at least the LBP incorporation into the conference. So after seeing them use LBP as a sort of PowerPoint, I began to wonder... And now my mind is set, and I'm hellbent on doing at least one of my school projects using LBP. I'm sure I can get one teacher to accept. >_> I'll probably record it and add a voice-over, explaining the presentation, but the idea is simple. So who else thought of doing a school project using the game, or something similar? Hopefully, when school starts, I'll know what to do! ^^

Baha, thanks. Don't worry, I know how to choose my words. The teacher shouldn't really know it's a video game until it's too late. xD Plus, I'm getting most of my teachers from last year again, and they know I have a unique way of doing things... they've learnt to let me have it my way, baha.

I was thinking that same thought I was thinking of signing up for physics in college as it is a general education class and was hoping I would have a chance to use that game to show a theory in physics and discuss it while I acted it out in game.

When I thought that we could have unlimited uploads, I thought about knocking the dust off my old physics book and making some 'educational' physics levels. I figured, I'd show a physics theory and then have the player figure out the puzzle while applying the theory. Easier said than done with some physics theories but, still fun. But, yeah.. no presentations for me unless it's at work and nobody at my current job would take me seriously if I tried to do a presentation like that.

Interesting. This would be especially good if you were able to upload to youtube and then show it from a PC and projector, although you won't be able to upload to youtube on release. Maybe in the future?

I doubt I'll get any major projects until at least halfway through the year, so I'll have sufficient time to familiarize myself with the tools. It doesn't have to go to Youtube, I could save it on a USB and take it over. The only major problem would be recording high quality footage, but I'm sure I could think of something.

I'll do it for something. I wouldn't bring the PS3 in; I'd screencap the level and save it as a movie. That would be the greatest presentation ever. Now I just need to find a teacher relaxed enough to let me do it. I know my Latin teacher would, but we never have Latin powerpoints....

i Won't take my ps3 to school so i'll probably record it. but you have to make it as simple as possible i think because they won't listen to what you have to say and they'll just focus on the screen...

wow, that's actually a really good idea! there might be a problem bringin in a ps3 to school... schools usually give problems when it comes to video games... regardless of esrb ratings, for them video games are video games... lbp mightaswell be gta... but it's a possibility to convince the right people... and if they see it once. they'll want to copyright it lol My old school was like that... one kid brought in ddr once and we played it on the projector and there was like a short line... a week later, my school bought a ps2, all copies of ddr, and 4 solid metal dance pads with a holding bar too... probably cost 2 or 3 grand, and less then a month later, nobody played it and they auctioned it off for 800 bucks... the schools are dumb like dat

Again, just screencap it. Then you don't have to take in the PS3, just put it on a usb stick and take it into school.

And if you're afraid of the timing, and you don't want to pause the video, record your voice and a little simple edit in MovieMaker and voila! A+ material... Assuming it's good... or the teacher's easily impressed. >_>

this would be really fun to do, but im going into highschool and i doubt it would go over well with classmates, they would probably all say its kinda ***, or stupid, or i could be totally wrong and they might think its awesome and be really jealous
